Save this place if you want Korean BBQ in a traditional Hanok in Seoul ❤️

@tuj7575 is a family-run galbi restaurant that has been around since 1983. What makes it special is the setting - you get to enjoy charcoal-grilled beef inside a traditional Korean house that is around 100 years old.

If it is your first visit, I would start with the marinated beef galbi. It is tender, not overly sweet, and has a really nice charcoal flavor.

For a more simple beef taste, try the beef short rib. If you want something a little more special, go for the 1++ Hanwoo sirloin.

Cold noodles are also a great way to finish the meal, especially after grilled meat. If you want something warm, the beef and mushroom stew is a good choice too.

What I would order:
Marinated Beef Galbi
Beef Short Rib
1++ Hanwoo Sirloin
Cold Noodles
Beef and Mushroom Stew

A nice place to experience both traditional Korean atmosphere and Korean BBQ in one meal.❤️

If you want a more traditional galbi experience in Seoul, save @wangdogalbi near Cheongnyangni Station.

This place has been serving galbi for over 30 years, and the meat is still prepared by hand. The beef is selected fresh, trimmed carefully, and their marinated galbi rests in a homemade sauce before going on the charcoal grill.

If it is your first time, I would start with the LA Galbi. It is juicy, slightly sweet, smoky, and very easy to enjoy.

The beef short rib is a good choice if you prefer a more natural beef flavor, and they also serve 1++ Hanwoo sirloin for something a little more special.

Do not skip the cold noodles either. They make the noodles and sauce themselves, and the fresh, chewy noodles go really well with grilled meat. The doenjang stew is also a nice warm finish after BBQ.

Beef Short Rib
1++ Hanwoo Sirloin
Homemade Cold Noodles
Doenjang Stew

It is also a big restaurant with plenty of seating, so it works well for family dinners, group meals, or dinner with friends.

If you’re craving some really good gopchang in Gangnam, you need to check out @gop.gangnam ❤️

It’s super popular, loved by locals for over 15 years, and even earned a spot on the Blue Ribbon Survey for six years straight 💙🎀

The best part is definitely the meat quality. They also tenderize it naturally with fruit, so it turns out meltingly soft. Nothing is pre-boiled either, they grill your order right when you ask for it so it stays super juicy.

If you can’t decide what to get, just go with the assorted platter to taste gopchang, daechang, makchang, and yeomtong all together. But honestly, their garlic gopchang is my ultimate favorite!

For sides, getting a chilly cucumber soju to balance the richness, spicy Buldak noodles, or a cold kimchi noodle bowl to wrap things up is an absolute must.

If you love Korean food and want to try something a little different, definitely save this spot for your next Gangnam food date 🥢💗
