Allow me to introduce myself… My name is Allyson Beard, and I currently serve as Miss New Albany Teen Volunteer. I will be competing in the Miss Mississippi Teen Volunteer Pageant in Tupelo. I can’t wait to take the stage in July! Follow me in my journey as Miss New Albany Teen Volunteer! by @missallysonbeard
✨Sponsor Highlight!✨ It may be a new year, but I’m still reminiscing over my beautiful silent auction basket from the Miss Mississippi Teen Volunteer Pageant this past July. Each item in the basket was sponsored by a local business in my hometown. A huge thank you to Amanda Kent Beauty, The Truffle Pig - New Albany, Magnolia Soap and Bath, Between Sisters, and Main Street Linen for their contributions! If you’re in New Albany, stop by these local businesses! They won’t disappoint! by @missallysonbeard
Trusting in God’s timing for my life!💖 I am so blessed that I had the opportunity to experience Miss Mississippi Teen Volunteer a second year in a row! This week was filled with amazing people, tremendous sponsors/volunteers, and memories that will last a lifetime. Also, I was blessed to receive a scholarship that will help me further my education. With that being said, I’m officially leaving my teen era in pageantry. Though it is bittersweet, I am ready to hit the ground running into the next phase of my pageant career! Thank you to the Volunteer organization for creating a program that helps young women grow in confidence and discover who they are, all while being able to earn scholarship dollars. Congratulations to the new reigning queens, @laurylmadison @_izzykarns , and @georgiabellbeard ! To Izzy, I am so beyond proud of you! There was no one more deserving than you! Thank you for being such a great friend to me! You’re an inspiration! Lastly, I want to thank some amazing people who made this all possible for me. To my family, Mary Marsha Riley, Madison Snipes, Amanda Kent, Mills Marie and the Adair Family - Each one of y’all played a vital part in my journey. I cannot express how much gratitude I have for all of you! THANK YOU!! All of these people plus SO many more made this week worthwhile! I’m so thankful to be a part of the Volunteer Family! ANYTHING & EVERYTHING HONEYBEE!🍯🐝 My night with my Honeybee was everything and more! We started off with our Honeybee crowning and ended it with a fabulous PJ Party! I loved spending time with my sweet Honeybee, Mills Marie! She is the most kind hearted, silliest, and fearless little girl I’ve ever met! Social Media Challenge || Day 4 || Favorite Phase of Competition 👗 I’m a girly girl at heart, so you know I’m always raving about a new dress!! Evening gown is my favorite phase of competition because it is a time that a little of my personality can shine through. It’s about more than just the gown, but it’s about how you feel and present yourself in your gown. That is my favorite part. As long as you feel beautiful, it’s already a win. There’s nothing like being onstage comfortable in your own skin because you’re modeling a dress that you’re confident in! I cannot wait to hit that stage and show the judges my confidence and stage presence in my fabulous gown. 💖 A HUGE thank you to @marymarshariley for instilling confidence in me and helping me perfect my evening gown routine! #MMV #missnateenvol #MMVP #MVA #MMTV #BorntobeDIFFERENT #SERVE #round2 #yearoftheteenqueen #eveninggown by @missallysonbeard
Social Media Challenge Day 3 || Fitness Friday💪 Fitness has always been an important aspect of my life. I come from a family that is rooted in basketball, so I have played basketball since I was in elementary school. With that, basketball requires weight training and agility, so I have had access to my school’s athletic trainer for years. Now that I have graduated high school and no longer play basketball, I have found other beneficial ways to keep my body moving. While I still enjoy weight training, I have recently added walking to my routine. Whatever it is that you enjoy to do, just remember to keep your body moving. Know that everyone’s body is not the same. Your healthy may look different from the next person’s. Just remember to set realistic goals for yourself and fuel your body with nutritious foods! I can’t believe that in the next few days I’ll be on stage competing for the title of Miss Mississippi Teen Volunteer. Tupelo, I’ll see you soon! 😉 #MMV #missnateenvol #MMVP #MVA #MMTV #BorntobeDIFFERENT #SERVE #round2 #yearoftheteenqueen #fitnessfriday by @missallysonbeard
