The most beautiful day @warwickshirelavender 🌿💜🌿 I finally made it to this local lavender field and was so glad I did. I’d actually had a stressful week at work so it was the perfect way to relax and unwind and the scent was stunning. Highly recommend a visit if you are local and the owners support charities with some of the profits made too, which makes it even more special. Next year I definitely want to do one of the golden hour events. Have you visited yet? Beautiful garden in Warwickshire 🪏 🪴 ✨Location: The Mill Garden, Warwick. This privately owned garden @the.mill.garden is opened to the public on certain days, so check opening times before visiting. But definitely worth a visit for the well kept plants and unreal views of Warwick Castle which is next door. Have you visited before? Birthday brunch @almanack.kenilworth 🎉☕️🥐 I’ve had a few days off work to celebrate my birthday (last Thursday) where I finally managed to get to the new Almanack with my hubby. It’s been beautifully refurbished and we enjoyed bakes and cold drinks from @shortlandcoffeeco in the air conditioned venue. I also went on some more local adventures, which I’m looking forward to sharing soon. How was everybody’s weekend? X. by @misscoventrywarwickshire

Dreamy day out in Leamington 💐🍨🪻🌶️📖 including: 💐 Strolls in the sunshine in the Jephson gardens. 🍨 Ice-cream at the Aviary cafe in the gardens (10/10 would recommend the strawberries and cream scoop). 🍽️ Lunch deal @rosasthai I was so pleased to go back here as hadn't managed to visit since I went to the opening of the restaurant. The green curry and the spring rolls are always my go-to order. 📖 Finally popped into the viral independent @thespicylibrarianuk which I'd been dying to visit since it's opening with queues of visitors. Definitely want to go back again soon to get a drink in the cafe area but we were short on time. Let me know any other recommendations to check out on my next day trip. Life lately: ☕🍓☁️☀️📖 ☕ Slower start to the week with a Kenilworth trip for a gorgeous brunch with a friend @forrestcoffeehouse (10/10 would recommend the acai smoothie bowl.) 🪿 Recent volunteer work at Ryton Pools country park. 📖 Bookshop browsing. I've also been to the Spicy Librarian, finally, so will be posting about that soon! Also if you saw my stories, you'll see that we also briefly popped along to @godivafestivalofficial for Godiva in the city, I'll share some more from that soon, so keep an eye out. Warwickshire ice-cream farm trip 🐄🍦🐄 Location: just outside of Atherstone @parkysfarm Highly recommend the fresh soft serve ice-cream with the smarties topping on a summer's day. I am a big ice-cream lover and literally will eat ice-cream all year around, so this self serve machine is my idea of heaven. Also went for a beautiful walk along the river in a nearby village, as we love exploring different places. We are busy with work and all the end of the school year activities, as well as visiting family to catch up. How's your week been going so far? Dreamy day out in Stratford including: 🦢 Walks along the river Avon. 🦢 Favourite ice-cream from the RSC cafe. 🦢 Sightseeing with the famous Shakespeare characters statues. Life lately in Coventry 🍍☕☀️ including: ☀️ Epic 3D street artwork. ☀️ Weekly treats @kitchen126_ (butter cookie iced latte and pink flamingo smoothie) and a few minutes outside enjoying the good weather. ☀️ Fresh fruit at the local post office. ☀️ M&S flower shopping. ☀️ Nail day @mellowstudio.uk (pr invite). Invite Thank you so much to @theagencylab.co.uk for inviting me to the newly made over @hungryhorsepubsuk (the Steam Turbine) in Rugby. 🚂😋🐎 We enjoyed the following: 🐎 The Ultimate Big Combo platter which included scampi, onion rings and chicken wings (proper girl dinner right there, definitely recommend!) 🐎 The Full Monty mixed grill which included all the classics and was very popular when we visited as we were sitting near the kitchen entrance, so spotted all the sizzler dishes coming out. 🐎 And a classic Mac and cheese for my son and the pick and mix chicken, which was a hit. 🐎 And recommend the white Zinfandel with lots of ice in this glorious weather we are having. Definitely want to go back as the Sunday roasts looked such good value and proper classic food with the duo of meats.The Hungry Horse pubs are so good for families which was definitely the case when we visited as it was busy and buzzing with young families as well as teenagers and grandparents too. Thanks again to the agency lab. We had a lovely, quality family lunch together, which was much needed as I have been feeling poorly recently. How was your weekend? Invite Thanks so much to @thetwistedtalestours for inviting me to their fun, interesting and dark guided tour of the iconic tourist spots around Stratford. ✨🎭✨ I don't want to give too much away but it was fascinating to hear about the stories of some real life people of the town. Thanks again to Jez and Sophie for a wonderful, entertaining evening. Me, my husband and my teenage son really enjoyed.
