I really don’t think y’all understand what this moment means to me. 🥹🫶🏽

What started as a little idea during one of the hardest seasons of my life is now sitting in my house… IN BOXES! LOTS AND LOTS OF BOXES! 😂

And not just a few either ya’ll. 😱

When I tell y’all I dreamed about this, prayed about this, stressed about this, cried about this, and questioned myself about this… WHEW CHILE! There were plenty of moments when I wondered if I was in over my head or if I had completely lost my mind. 😂 But one thing about me, when I believe in something, I’m going to give it everything I’ve got!

And now here we are. 🥹

One small vision, 17 boxes (s/o to the UPS driver🙌🏽) and A WHOLE lot of faith.🙏🏽

Haven & Ink is no longer just an idea floating around in my head. It’s REAL. It’s HERE. And in just 11 days, I finally get to share it with the world!

But before I show y’all WHAT I created, I want to share WHY I created it, because Haven & Ink is so much more than a journal to me. It’s personal. It’s a piece of my story, my healing, my heart, and a whole lot of things I had to find the strength to work through.

I created something for the people who carry things they don’t always know how to put into words. For the people who are trying to find their way through grief, loss, life changes, and everything in between because sometimes you just need somewhere to put it all.

And while these boxes may look like nothing more than inventory to somebody else, to me they represent purpose, perseverance, and a promise I made to myself that I was going to see this thing through. 🥰

So before the big reveal, I want to take y’all back a little bit and share the inspiration behind Haven & Ink, what it means to me, and why I felt so strongly about bringing it to life.

✨ 30 DAYS. ✨

Whew… I’ve been waiting a LONG time to say this.

In exactly 30 days, something that started as an idea during one of the hardest seasons of my life will officially be out in the world.

Haven & Ink launches 10.25.26. 💙🩶

I’ve talked about it a little. I’ve shown a few things here and there. But there is SO much about Haven & Ink that I haven’t shared yet.

And I think it’s finally time.

Over the next 30 days, I’m taking you behind the scenes, the story, the why, the process, the things that went wrong 😩, the things that came together better than I imagined😊, and eventually… the finished product.

I created Haven & Ink from a very personal place, but somewhere along the way I realized it was becoming bigger than me.

It became something I wish I had when I needed it most.

And now, I get to share it with you. 🥹💙

Omg Omg Omg… I cannot even believe what I just witnessed. My 1st born, my baby girl, the one who calls me mommy has just graduated from high school and I could not be more proud of her!

Dream you are a natural born leader and have been placed in our lives to do great things. This is just the beginning of all the wonderful things you will accomplish in life. You have never been average so don’t start now. Continue to push yourself and crush those goals. You make me and this family so proud everyday. Motherhood is hard enough, but you and your brother help me to make it look easy. Remember to never let fear hold you back, you can do ANYTHING, and I cannot wait to continue to brag on you! I love you immensely! Congratulations babygirl… NSU take care of my baby 🙏😩

😍😍😍 Dream’s prom 2024… Here are some dope shots along with some BTS shots as well. The final video is her walking into the prom… The love she received from her friends and faculty was so amazing. 🥰🥰 Baby girl you look so beautiful and I am so proud of you!

The rain was such a blow and Dream cried pretty much all day because of the rain, i had to keep touching up her makeup… But we learned to make the best out of every situation… 😍 She looked so beautiful. 🥺🥺 Y’all nephew is officially a teenager yall! 13 years old. If you have ever had the pleasure of being around my children, then you know they have been #maincharacters since birth.

Since the day you were born son… you have been such a joy to be around. You make it so easy to be your mom (except when i find my dishes in your room🙄 but i digress). You are so smart, handsome, funny, charismatic, innovative and did i mention funny? You make me laugh all the time… 😂 You love on me and your sister so hard and make us feel safe around you. I couldn’t ask for a better son and I am grateful to GOD that he saw fit for me to be your mommy 💙💙 Enjoy this new chapter in life. Stay focused, and continue to be you.
