12 YRS LATER 🗓⏳👣

The last 12 years have been quite the journey! 🥹🤌

I’ve been through addiction, alcoholism, severe depression, PTSD, paralyzing anxiety, group homes, therapy, homelessness, hospitalizations & extreme poverty...

Because of this, I gave my ex-husband full custody of my 2 boys. It was the hardest decision I could ever make for my family. I didn’t want to ruin their lives when mine was such a mess. I can’t change the fact that I didn't get to raise them. They don’t remember my early dedication and unconditional love, but they are my world. Always.

Even if they stay mad at me forever, I hope they find forgiveness. I am deeply sorry for not being the mom I was meant to be.NOTHING HAS BEEN EASY & it still isn’t perfect.

**Today I can say I love myself and I am worth it! Worth what? To be myself wholeheartedly without fear of rejection or judgment. I am perfectly imperfect and choose a growth mindset.
