Of course, it wouldn’t be an Elle Sera product if it didn’t have a twist… in a good way.

I’m building this product in public, which means you’re coming along for the ride.

There are still plenty of decisions to make. Formulation. Packaging. Positioning. Name. Launch.

I might regret this…

I’m still debating over the formulation.
I’m still REALLY STRESSING over the packaging. 18 months now! And we’re nowhere near the finish line.

But do you want to come along for the ride?

Because contrary to Instagram appearances, product development isn’t me sipping coffee while approving mood boards… it’s trips around the world to try and make something that will walk into the pages of Vogue and into everyone of your handbags.

It’s delays, samples, lids that don’t fit, bottles which don’t work, tubes too big, spreadsheets, mistakes, supplier calls, and occasionally questioning your own sanity and I HAVE to sign this off by July.

We need a name… we need a strategy to launch, we need samples. Please help me… I’m going to call upon this community to bring this into the world with me.

Let’s build this thing together.

One of my favourite things is watching people back themselves. A few months ago Joe (pictured) had this idea.

Then it became a sketch, a bit of fag packet maths, a rough estimate of costs and then a building site.

Then multiple decisions, sleepless nights, invoices, delays, doubts and probably a few “what have I done?” moments. And now it’s open.

I took Grace along this week to @clay_and_crust and we painted a mug and unicorn, ate pizza, and admired what happens when someone has the courage to take a risk with their own money.

The internet is full of people talking about building businesses. I have a lot of respect for the people actually doing it. Go and visit him 🍕 🎨 taken in Southport by @misselissac

An oldie, but a goodie. ✨

I genuinely don’t know where I’d be without my Golden Pills. They’re are critical part of my daily ritual, helping me feel more capable of managing, they keep me sane, trim, calmer and make me a better mother.

Over 200,000 women have made Golden Pill part of their routine. I can completely understand why. 💫

100,000 followers.

When I started this business, sat at my kitchen table, I could never have imagined where it would take me.

There have been incredible highs. There have been some spectacular lows. There have been moments where I thought, “We’ve made it.” And moments where I wondered how on earth we’d get through the next storm.

But through every chapter, there has been one constant.

You.

The customers who bought the products. recommended us to a friend and who left a review when they didn’t have to. The customers who sent a message at exactly the right moment.

One of my favourite sayings is:

“A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor.”

The last five years have certainly not been smooth seas. But thanks to your support, we’ve become far better sailors.

100,000 followers is a lovely milestone, but what I’m most proud of is the community we’ve built together.

Thank you for trusting us, backing us and weathering every storm with us.
