Anyway. Hi. Here are my photos from the Scottish Highlands.

The Scottish Highlands and Isle of Skye have been on my bucket list for a while now. I really wanted to got to Scotland this Fall but I decided it would be too much after just moving but the Universe had other plans when my friend invited me to join her on a 3 day tour. The highlands were even more beautiful than I imagined and even though I normally don’t like tours, I feel like it was the best way to visit for the first time.

I wanted to visit Edinburgh for years now and when I finally got the chance, I didn’t love it. There is nothing wrong with the city, it’s actually quite lovely. The architecture is beautiful, it’s clean, there’s good shopping, and it felt safe.

Sometimes it’s not about the obvious things but more about the vibe you feel when visiting a place. For me I didn’t feel anything as I strolled the cobblestone streets. I didn’t hate it, I didn’t love it. It was simply just nice. But that’s the beauty of travel. It’s not about loving every place you visit, it’s about experiencing something new.

Is there a place you’ve really wanted to go and went you finally visited you were like “meh”? by @missenocha
