Right, a proper introduction, not the polished business version.

I’m Jade.
I’m 36, a mum of three, half Welsh, half Irish, valleys born, unemployable 9-5, but luckily I’ve always had one of those brains that refuses to leave anything alone.

I can look at a product and start building a campaign before I’ve even asked what it costs. I can walk past a location and mentally plan an entire shoot. I can meet two people and immediately start wondering what might happen if they worked together.

Sometimes it’s useful. Sometimes it keeps me awake thinking about ideas nobody has actually asked me for yet 😂

But underneath all of it, I genuinely love seeing people bring out the best in themselves.

I love watching somebody become more confident when they’re given proper direction (myself included). I love helping a small business show people why its work matters. I love connecting good people and seeing an idea become bigger because nobody had to build it alone.

That’s what Missing Piece Media is really being built around.

MPM is a creative production company and creative network. I identify the problem, develop the concept, bring together the right creatives, plan and direct the production, then turn it into campaign assets a business can actually use. Alongside commercial work, MPM creates genuine opportunities, introductions and safer routes into the industry.

MPM is new, I started it in June, and I’m not going to pretend I have years of agency history behind me. What I do have is a creative brain that rarely switches off, some serious drive, no want or need to fit in somebody else’s box, ever, high standards, a growing network of brilliant people and absolutely no interest in making things look like everything else on the internet.

And honestly, we’re very much still only at the beginning.

My inbox is always open if you ever want to ask a question, share an idea or simply say hello. Sometimes I’ll reply instantly; sometimes it’ll be within three to five business days.

Apologies in advance - but it probably won’t change 😂

Being overlooked doesn’t mean you have nothing to offer.

This part of @outloudartscollective speech at IN THE ROOM really stayed with me. Seeing potential in people who’ve been underestimated or misjudged, and making sure their creativity has somewhere to go. I felt every bit of that.

It’s something I care about deeply with MPM too. You shouldn’t have to fit a certain mould to be welcomed, heard or given a chance.

Thank you to Out Loud Arts for sharing such powerful words and for the work you’re doing in the community. I’m so glad we had you in the room 🤍

Has someone ever seen something in you before you could see it yourself?

Always such huge pleasure to work alongside 🤍 by @missingpiece_media

Your friends can support what you do, but there are people outside your circle who could need it, recommend it or want to build something with you.

That’s why I’m bringing everyone together tomorrow.

IN THE ROOM is a creative and business networking evening at @swansea.alberthall , open to creatives, self-employed people, independent brands, charities and organisations of every size.

Whether you’re a photographer looking for brands to work with, a business owner needing content, a charity wanting to make local connections or someone just getting started, you’re invited.

Expect short talks from people building businesses and community projects, introductions to help get conversations started, local businesses to discover and time to chat properly.

You could meet your next content team, collaborator or someone who introduces you to an opportunity you hadn’t considered.

Come alone or bring a friend. You don’t need a big following, an established business or a polished pitch.

Tomorrow, Saturday 24th October
Swansea Albert Hall · 6:30–9pm

There’s still time to join us. Book through the link in our bio.

Feeling very grateful today.
Thank you to everyone who came to IN THE ROOM last night. Seeing people turn up, support each other and get chatting about the things they love and could collaborate with eachother for made all the organising worth it.

MPM is still so new, so having you all there really did mean a lot to me.

This photo from @theguesteditorialuk made me smile — and gives you a first look at the first edition MPM “create louder” hoodies, printed in house by our favourite @david_sostradingco, which had their first outing last night!

What do you think of them? Would you wear one? 🫶🏼
