Most of the time it hasn't felt like work at all. Looking back these last three and a half years have brought some incredible highs and some challenging lows. Every experience has shaped me and I'm grateful for every one of them.

I've been incredibly fortunate to have been trusted with some amazing opportunities during my time back at CTCRM. More importantly I've had the privilege of working alongside some exceptional people who have brought out the best in me and propped me up when I needed it most. I'll always be grateful for the friendships, support and memories.

My time back at the Mother Ship is done and it's time for the next chapter. We're heading overseas as a family and I'm honoured to be taking up an exchange role with the United States Marine Corps. Here's to the next adventure. 🇬🇧🤝🇺🇸

What an incredible experience meeting HRH King Charles III. Thank you to @sam__sheriff and @reorgcharity for making it possible while raising awareness of this incredible charity and the amazing art of BJJ.

It was an honour to be part of such a special day.

Catching up with so many friends I've shared the mats with over the years, and meeting new ones, made it even more memorable.

Thank you @rogergracie @mauriciogomes.bjj @rogergracieacademy and @braulioestima for having me and @tiniegram for all the drilling 💪🥵

Over 2 decades serving in the Royal Marines 👀👴

The memories I’ve made and the things I’ve achieved have only been possible because of the people around me.

Thank you to all my friends and family for the last 21 years 💪🙏 by @missionfitpro

RM BJJ Corps Championship 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ 🥋🥋💪💪

Unbelievable scenes.

It's always good seeing how far everyone has come and seeing all the new faces, stepping up to compete for the very first time.

I stepped on the mats, found it incredibly tough yet took so much away. Both @mjsaxby and @bjj_jimmy nailing the bracket.

My turning-up-medal did help secure a 3rd place team trophy for @ctcrm_bjj.💁🏼‍♂️ 🙏🏆

Well done to @craiggreenwood17_mc_tnt and his lads from the mighty 45 Cdo for winning both the team trophy and 45 bootneck Kane Jackson earning the well deserved best fighter award 💪

Thank You for all those that made the event run smoothly, giving up their time and energy for the benefit of us all;

#bjjbrownbelt by @missionfitpro

Well what can I say! Yesterday I was honoured to receive my brown belt from our @royalmarinesbjj head coach @al_gayson following an outstanding RMBJJA seminar 🙏

What a journey we have been on and to watch my other good friends level up was truly amazing. @wynney23 @bendavisphotography and Oli. What a day.

We were lucky to have Tarik and team from @ursojiujitsu deliver an outstanding wrestling seminar. And @tarik_bilgic_ reminds me of the time I was running the RM corps champs from a borrowed clip board and box of biros all them years ago 📋🖊️😵‍💫. So much has changed and yesterday blew me away with how far we have come and what's coming next for our amazing sport within the @royalmarines and wider 🚀🙏

I'm incredibly thankful to everyone I have met on this journey, there's so many inspirational individuals I could Thank! My journey most definitely hasn't been linear (just a couple set backs🤕 🤥 ) however I can honestly say sticking to this sport has improved my life in so many ways.

Thank You all.

20 Years a Royal Marine – What a Journey!

20 years ago, I stepped off the train at Lympstone, not fully knowing what I’d signed up for—only that I wanted to earn the green beret and be part of something bigger than myself. Two decades later, I look back on a career that’s tested me, shaped me and given me experiences I never could have imagined. It's amazing what you can achieve when you put your mind to it.

From operational tours to training the next generation, from pushing my own limits to helping others overcome theirs—this has been one remarkable journey.

To the brothers I’ve served alongside, the friends I've lost, to the mentors who’ve guided me, and to the many that I owe so much to—Thank You. The lessons, the friendships, and the memories will last a lifetime.

Here’s to the past 20 years—and whatever comes next.
