Jeepers creepers! 👁️ Another vootd featuring my spooky accessories. This time I doubled up my showgirl earrings with a pair of sequin eyeballs. And if you look closely, you can see my Beetlejuice, glow in the dark, Maitlands pins 👻 Adding these few creepy pieces to my otherwise "normal" clothes turned it into a Halloween-y outfit. Oh, and the fact that pants kinda give Haunted Mansion wallpaper vibes helps too!

Ooof. It's hot & I'm hurting so I'm wearing a tent. Well, a tent dress and let me tell you - no regrets! Normally I wear this dress with a belt & jacket but I opted for minimalism because my body was having none of that. I did decide to wear my 90s bitchy witch earrings with it, making the frogs a bit more Halloween-y. Anyhow, hope you all are taking care of yourselves and your neighbors. ❤️

Too soon? 🎃🎃 That's what you call a rhetorical question. Ha! I kid, I kid. I know, it's not even October but I'm leaning in. It's still too hot for layers so I spiced up this little vintage dress with some Halloween accessories. I always end up waiting too long, so I'm getting my spooky on while I can!

Hey yo! Been a minute since I've posted my vootd 🙃 So here's what I wore for the first official Dolly Day yesterday, 9/25. Thanks to my bff @lacycushion for my WWDD shirt. Seems like a question more of us should ask ourselves, eh? Anyhow, kept it comfy this year but I'm already planning my outfit for next year and you'd better believe it'll have a lot of sparkle!

@peachesnisker at the Garden Amp with Wheelchair Sportscamp opening last night! Absolutely insane! I left yet another concert completely inspired. This time, no screens, just crazy costumes, wild props & incredible choreography. She's not for the faint of heart, but damn. You should see her live! And @wheelchairsportscamp was a rad added bonus.

And not only was the music inspiring but the crowd! So many rad outfits. All kinds (and ages) of people dancing and having a helluva time. Believe it or not we blended right in!

Hey! Hey! We're The Monkees! 🎸 Growing up, I used to watch The Monkees tv show and I was obsessed. The music, the bright colors, the campiness. One of those shows that made me who I am, you know? Anyhow, to say I was so excited to get this vintage Monkees pj shirt from @beckysvintagefinds would be an understatement. It's a bit tricky to wear since it only has 3 buttons but I just love it. Thanks Becky! Now off to find that show on YouTube 🤩

Keeping it classy over here, as usual 🚬🍺🚬 I really do love this bootleg Bud tee from @chargingskyvintage The screen print over the pocket is the perfect touch. And how fun are these snack pant shorts? I hit the mother load at an estate sale recently. Lucky for you, they didn't all fit me, so some of these beauties will be hitting the racks soon. Oh, and can we have a moment (or two) for the raddest belt buckle from @fifthhousefinds 🤩 I'm on the hunt for some more interchangeable belts so I can wear as much as possible. Let me know if you see any cool ones!

Back at one of my favorite places in LA - @hollywoodbowl 🤩 This time to see David Byrne (of the Talking Heads) for my birthday and Wow! What a show. That man is the definition of an artist. From the music to the choreography to the set design - he thinks of it all as one big picture. And it was incredible.

Anyhow, onto the outfit. It was nearly 100 degrees in LA on Friday (down to 85 at 11:00pm 🙃) so I kept it cool. I wore all cotton including my Shelley Duvall stripey dress and an 80s lightweight Hawaiian shirt. My boots were most comfortable for trekking The Bowl. And my new cheetah cane came from an estate sale (thanks @thisgirl_lauren for crawling under the stairs to get it 😘) Everything but my sunglasses and undies are secondhand!

Ok, back to @davidbyrneofficial , if you aren't familiar (or think you aren't) give him/Talking Heads a listen today. You won't regret it ❤️

Another day, another house coat worn out as a dress 💁‍♀️ This one is actually a 1970s "Models Coat" and I can thank @birdsof3vintage once again. I wore it last night for my birthday eve dinner with the family. Yup! Today's my birthday! This is 47! Well, technically I was 46 in this pic but you get it. Anyhow, 46 was kinda shit, but 47 is gonna be AMAZING. I can just feel it. So, today, my birthday wish is that you all wear something that makes you happy. Stop saving it for a special occasion or worrying what people might say. Wear the damn thing! Love you all! Here's to 47! 🍾🎉🍾🎉🍾

The only time I think less is best is when it's this damn hot! I am longing for the days of layering but for now I'm keeping it simple in this little shift dress. It has one pocket (as the photos show me searching for a second). Why is that? Did women bitch enough so they threw us a bone and gave us one tiny one? But seriously, does anyone know?

Electric Cantaloupe - that's the color of my new housecoat/dress from @thrifters_delight⚡️🍈⚡️ I wanted to wear it belted but my body was not having it. I went another direction & opted for a cotton over shirt which I tucked into the patch pockets. I didn't want them to get hidden away! Also, special thanks to Laura for looking out for me while shopping at the most epic estate sale I had to miss. Have I mentioned how much I love this vintage community? 🥰

Wowza! Our Summer Hullabaloo @silverwingsvintage was yesterday and what a whirlwind!! An absolutely amazing day! My body decided to cooperate (for the most part) and I definitely chose the right outfit. This rad little cotton tunic from @birdsof3vintage was perfect for the day. Loose & airy, it covered enough to keep the sun off me. The rad visor from @games_of_thrift helped too 🥰 And I opted for the boots, a little warm but waaay comfy. All in all, an epic day!
