🥰DO YOU HAVE ANY PETS?💛 This is Esme. I’ve had her now since November, I didn’t plan on getting any pets for awhile(especially after what happened to my last cat🥺) but this kitty came into my life suddenly when she needed help. She was very sick, tiny and cold. There was no mother cat and the other kitten she was with had already passed away so I knew I had to do something. I honestly didn’t know if she was going to make it but after lots of meds, she pulled through to be the most loving and funniest cat. She really is precious and I’m glad we found each other ❤️ she goes everywhere with me, she love car rides, adventures and she adapts to new things fast. However since I’ve had her, I noticed she didn’t really see that well. I thought maybe it was where she was sick or perhaps it left her with bad vision. But it was getting worse and worse over time to the point where she started walking into walls or not being able to find her water dish. The vet had no idea what was wrong and recommended an eye specialist (yes I’m broke now haha) where she was diagnosed with progressive retinal atrophy which is a genetic disorder of the retina that will lead to blindness in both eyes. As much as it broke my heart, I was informed that there was nothing I could do about it and cats with this disorder live a happy and long life still. 🙏 I am so blessed to have her, she brings me much joy. Meet Esme💜💕
