Honored to serve as your Miss MAAC Black & Gold 👑💛, I’m excited to share my platform: Stepping Into Resilience — a commitment to growth, strength, and authentic self-expression.

✨ Reflective: Growth starts within. Slowing down and listening to yourself creates space for clarity and healing.
✨ Strengthening: Resilience is built. With I Before E (Intellect Before Emotion), we turn doubt into power and face challenges with confidence.
✨ Expressive: Self-expression is liberation. Movement, journaling, and creativity help us release, recharge, and find joy.

These pillars guide me every day, and I hope they inspire others to rise with intention and softness. Thank you for your love and support — let’s keep Stepping Into Resilience together. 💫 by @missmaacofficial

Greetings! I am Jenaea Elise Davenport👑, a 20-year-old junior Political Science major at the illustrious Morgan State University, affectionately revered as The National Treasure. Blooming in from Winchester, Virginia, I have the honor of serving as Miss Black and Gold for the first undergraduate chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated in the state of Maryland, the prestigious Beta Alpha Chapter.

Crowned in service and grounded in faith, I’ve had the privilege of serving as Miss Political Science Association, Vice President of Legacy Hall Residence Council, co-founding and now serving as Vice President of the Morgan State Debate Team, and supporting my peers as a Resident Assistant in Legacy Hall—all while remaining actively engaged in the NAACP and Black Girls Vote.✨

Today, I stand before you as Miss MAAC Black & Gold🖤💛, representing the Mid Atlantic Association of Alpha Phi Alpha Chapters. This journey is not one I walk alone it is a shared testimony of faith, preparation, and the unwavering support of my village. On October 4th, the Miss Black and Gold queens of the mighty MAAC district stepped into a space designed to leave them grounded in grace and crowned in resilience.

The Queen’s Tea: Grounded, Graced & Crowned served as a powerful reminder to walk in authentic confidence. Immense gratitude to all made this possible, and all who joined us to honor our voices, trust our pace, and encourage us to lead with compassion! 👑🤍
