Thank you to everyone who participated in this project in helping save a life in honor of Suicide Prevention/ Awareness Month!💜

While this may not be the easiest thing to talk about, my heart is happy to see how many notes were submitted and placed out into the world for someone to read. I pray that each note finds it’s way to it’s person and reminds them that life is worth living and there is someone rooting for them ❤️‍🩹

While September has come to an end, prevention does not stop here. Prevention is in our every day life as we show our love and support to others in small acts that can lead to someone staying another day 💜 by @missmissionaz

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month 🇲🇽🪅✨

From September 15th to October 15th, it is a time to honor the histories, contributions, and the beautiful culture made by Hispanics all over the world 💛

I decided to celebrate by visiting the iconic @dulceriavalentinas where my family and I have visited for over 20 years when it comes to celebrations, birthdays, weddings, baby showers, graduations, etc. Some of my favorite memories of my childhood (even now as an adult) was coming here to pick out my birthday piñata and picking out decorations and my favorite candies to celebrate alongside my family and friends🪅

Valentina’s has been a staple in the Mexican American community as it provides items directly from Mexico and carries traditions over to the United States for all to enjoy like Dia de Los Muertos, posadas, piñatas, artesanal products, and so much more ✨

In honor of Suicide Awareness & Prevention Month, join me in helping others stay another day and leave a note to a stranger 💜

The note can include words of inspiration, kindness, or a small message to motivate them through a difficult chapter. If you can’t think about what to write, think about what you needed to hear during a difficult time of your life or what motivates you each day. A simple note can be a lifesaver for any one of us and can make the difference between it being a tough day and the last day.

Each note will be handwritten and placed in random areas around parks, shopping centers, parking lots, etc. for strangers to find, read, and possibly keep as a reminder of the kindness of others.

Leave your message in the form below (in the comments). All notes will be collected by Monday, September 14th and will be distributed afterward. Feel free to leave your message is Spanish as support has no language barrier.

Thank you for your support in the fight against suicide and for helping spread kindness to others! 💜

“A child may never know your name, but they’ll know that someone cared enough to help them start the school year with confidence” 📚🎓

Last week, I was able to participate in my ERG group’s, Los Coworkers, “Christmas in July” event as we collected school supplies for the Gila Bend Unified School District.

We were able to collect over 4,000 supplies for the upcoming school year to ensure that all of their students are able to attend school fully prepared to learn and help ease financial hardship for their families. Drives like this is what keeps kindness alive knowing that those in a position to help others will do so to help others and future generations to succeed… making this world a better place peace by peace ☮️✌🏼 by @missmissionaz
