Students in our social work program participated in a simulation lab last week where they were challenged to assess the risks on display of a mock up apartment created by our faculty.

Students listened to a simulated case file detailing the story of the family whose home they were meant to evaluate. After hearing this case and investigating the setting, students were tasked with assessing health and safety risks while also brainstorming strategies and resources to care for and help the family in the simulation.

This classroom was full of caring and talented individuals that we loved getting to catch in action. Learn more about Social Work at MoWest by visiting https://www.missouriwestern.edu/social-work/ by @missouriwestern
