If you know me, you know I pour my whole heart into everything I do. This endeavor was no exception. @missalvolpageant

With this being my last year of eligibility to compete, tonight I’ll know how God’s plans were meant to unfold all long. As I enter finals tonight, no matter what, I’m grateful and confident that God’s ways and plans are always best, whatever they may be. 🤍

Interview is complete 🤍✨

I decided to make this moment full circle, wearing the first dress I ever wore to a state pageant interview when I was 17 years old.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed for me and supported me leading up to this moment. I am so grateful to have shared my vision and plans if I were to be given the role of Miss Alabama Volunteer. 💙

The final letter in S.E.R.V.E. is E – Empowerment. 💗

Empowerment is not only about feeling confident—it’s about being given opportunities that help you grow and discover what you’re capable of.

One moment that will always stand out was the opportunity to represent Alabama at the Miss National Sweetheart Pageant! Being afforded this opportunity through the Miss Alabama Volunteer Pageant’s partnership with the @nationalsweetheartpageant was an incredible honor that grew me, challenged me in the best ways, and prepared me to come back to Alabama and compete again.

What an honor it was to place in the Top 10 and be named the Parade Wear winner!! 🥜✨

Miss Alabama Volunteer opened the door and I walked right through with all my heart! What an empowering gift this was!🩷

Today I’m talking about the heart of the Miss Volunteer America S.E.R.V.E. mission: Volunteerism!

My passion for raising awareness about the stories of violent crime victims and the organizations that support them is my S.E.R.V.E. initiative, but it also an extension of my life.

A true highlight and honor of this year was serving as the director of The House of Ruth’s Queens of Courage Fundraiser Pageant in March, where I raised over $10,000 for The House of Ruth, which is a domestic violence and sexual assault shelter and crisis center serving 9 counties in Southeast Alabama.

I was blown away by the outpouring of support for our mission that we saw at the pageant. I am so grateful for my fellow board members’ support, all of our sponsors, and every contestant. 💜

As a member of the Board of Directors for 2 years now I have seen more and more the critical need for this organization and other victim’s advocacy groups.

Anyone can be a victim of violent crime, and in some way we are all impacted by violent crime. Victims and their stories matter and I will always be an advocate of this message. by @misspellcityvol
