🚜❤️👑What a beautiful day for a groundbreaking ceremony!!🪏🌱🚒

Yesterday morning I had the honor of attending the Groundbreaking Ceremony for @pbcfirerescue Station 70! What an honor it was to be able recognize the importance of service, and safety, that this station will bring to the community. The amazing efforts and initiatives of PBCFR and Palm Beach County increase service, safety, and care that will reach over 12,000 residents in @palmbeachcountyfl - thank you @pbcfirerescue for the honor of attending, and thank you for all you do to continue to keep our community safe! Excellence Today, Improving Tomorrow! ❤️🚒🧯👨🏽‍🚒

A birthday weekend well spent!! 🎉💖

This weekend I got to spend my birthday weekend doing what I love. Meeting people, making connections, and creating so many memories. Friday I got to participate in the annual Homecoming Parade for @wellingtonhsfl - even though it literally rained on the parade, it didn't rain on the spirit of the Wellington Wolves as they headed into their homecoming game! Thank you so much for having me!🐺💙🎉

Saturday I had the honor and privilege of attending the #OutOfTheDarknessWalk with @afspsefl - it was really special to have been joined by friends, and family to support suicide prevention. As a mental health and suicide prevention advocate, I really loved getting to connect with others. Coming together to support each other, and know that we are not alone and we can stand together and walk together to further the cause. I wouldn't have wanted to spend my birthday weekend any other way! Cheers to this next year and all that the Lord has in store! 🩵💜💚🩷💛

Last night I got to attend the 99th crowning of @missamerica in my hometown of West Palm Beach, Florida! 🌴🏝️ @palmbeachesfl

Being born and raised here, as a first generation Caribbean American - competing in a pageant wasn't ever something I considered for myself. Having the opportunity to attend Miss America, as a local titleholder, in my hometown was truly such a gift I didn't even realize that I needed. The 52 women who competed truly represent style, success, service, scholarship - and I am so honored to be a part of this sisterhood.

Sometimes being Unbreakable means remembering that you don’t have to take care of yourself alone. Because of our friends at @btwfoundation and @cottononfoundation, we were able to do just that. 🩷🌎

We came together, had honest conversations surrounding mental health and how we take care of ourselves, and broke out into meaningful workshop rooms led by incredible youth + mental health experts. We created space for young people to talk openly, learn new tools, connect with one another, and better understand how to care for their own mental health because these are skills that can make a difference not just today, but for years to come.

This day was a reminder of the power of young people and how they are the future of this world. Investing in youth mental health means giving young people the tools, support, and confidence to navigate what comes next and creating a future where asking for help, taking care of yourself, and showing up for one another is the norm. by @misssouthfl

BACK 2 SCHOOL BASH 📝🍎📚🚌

This weekend I attended the Back to School Jam in @portsaint_lucie_community hosted by @bernardtaylorforcongress There were 3000+ backpacks & school supplies that were given away to students in the community, for the upcoming school year!

I even got to watch my beautiful and intelligent sister Queen @missfleverglades perform an engaging science experiment for the students - and remind us all that we matter! 🧪👩🏾‍🔬

It is always such a blessing to make new connections within our community, and engage with so many people truly wanting to make a difference. Good luck to all the students entering the new school year, you got this!!

Weekend Recap!! 👸🏾👑💖

This past weekend I had the honor to serving on the Jr. Overall Judging panel for the @nationalamericanmiss Florida state competition in Orlando, Florida. What an incredible experience seeing so many empowered young women grow their talents, and skills that they will take with them beyond the stage this weekend. I got to witness girls and women of all ages and all backgrounds show up and grow their confidence on and off the stage this weekend. Every single woman who showed up on should be so incredibly proud of themselves because they are all strong, and beautiful, and often times just showing up can be the hardest part. I cannot wait to see all that these amazing women accomplish! Thank you for welcoming me into the #namily 🫶🏾💗🤩

Thank you to my sponsors!! 🎉✨

I would be completely remiss if I didn't mention and say a massive THANK YOU to all friends, family, and businesses that were willing to sponsor me for Miss Florida Week.

Unfortunately, there was some kind of oversight, within the organization and all of my ads and sponsors (and several other women) failed to make it into the program book. So I wanted to take the time to thank and recognize these sponsors on my platform. It's not always easy, putting yourself out there to ask for businesses to sponsor you, and it's not always easy to say yes to a friend or an acquaintance. So, I am truly so humbled and honored that I had so many people believing in me. Thank you for partnering with me, thank you for believing in me, and thank you for all you do for the South Florida region!

Of course the biggest THANK YOU to my family! My family has loved me, support me, and encouraged me on my hardest days. They loved me when I was hard to love and believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. We have had ups and downs but I am so thankful that it has brought us closer together. I am the woman I am today because of you. So I can't thank you enough for you support, your love, your laughs, your lessons, your memories, and everything in between that I've learned from you to shape the young woman I am now. I can't wait to continue to serve the South Florida community this year!

Thank you for helping me feel confident!

Miss Florida Week Recap 👑: long caption

I learned a lot, laughed a lot, and cried a lot. I can honestly say that this experience was nothing at all that I expected it to be. Miss Florida Week brought lots of highs and lots of lows but the love and support I felt from my people was constant and so appreciated. This truly was an eye opening experience in so many ways! From praying together backstage, laughing til 2am in our room (Avery lol), being comforted after leaving my heart on the stage, painting rocks together, or crying in the bathroom together - the women of the Miss Florida organization were by far the biggest blessing of the week. These amazing women are the heartbeat of this organization keeping it alive and making it thrive.

I went into this wanting to make 8 year old Allie proud and I did that. Halfway through the week it was very evident that I wasn't the judges 'Miss Florida', but it was easy to accept, because the connections I made, and the people who related to me, reminded me that I was representing so much more than myself. Standing on that stage I was representing plus size women, women of color, people who've struggled with their mental health, anyone who's ever been bullied, anyone who's ever felt not good enough, struggled with grief, self doubt, and just the little girl who needed someone on that stage that looked like them. And I got to show on that stage that my body is the LEAST interesting thing about me. I got to let the Lord use my talents, heart, and passion I have for people to spread His joy, His love, and His light! Let's keep going on this journey of stepping into who I am called to be.

This was honestly such an eye opening experience. This is just the start for me. I am brave, I am bruised, I am who I'm meant to be. This is Allie. 💖👑🤩✨💕🥰
