According to @misswhitbit - lawyer and girl mom - she solved two birthday party problems at once and didn’t even break a sweat. 🎁

When Whitney gets a birthday invitation, she lets the theme do the thinking for her. Minnie Mouse invite? Minnie Mouse gift. No browsing, no second-guessing, no “is this age appropriate?” spiral. The invitation tells her exactly what the birthday kid is into right now. She just follows the lead.

Her decision is made in seconds.

And for the card? She uses a book instead. She writes a handwritten note inside, her daughter signs and dates it, and that becomes the card.

The birthday kid gets a gift AND a book with a personal note they can keep forever. The parent receiving it isn’t then throwing away another envelope at the end of the night.

It’s more thoughtful than a card, more personal than a generic gift, and somehow easier than both.

That’s the lawyer brain at work. Find the most efficient path to the best outcome and don’t overcomplicate it.

Two decisions made once. Zero scrambling.

Just booked our next getaway to Excellence El Carmen! 🌴✈️

I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about this resort—from the service to the food to the overall experience—so I’m excited to finally see it for myself!

We’ll be staying in a suite with our own private plunge pool, which makes it even better. There’s just something about having your own little slice of paradise at an all-inclusive resort that takes relaxation to the next level.

I can’t wait to experience everything this beautiful spot in the Dominican Republic has to offer. Stay tuned—I’ll be sharing all the details!

College football is back and I was able to attend my second game for the weekend. We brought a Hokie with us and she proudly cheered on her team in the Gamecocks section. She was also able to witness firsthand how much shopping my wife does at football games on her phone. The game was entertaining and we pulled it out. Mercedes Benz Stadium is the nicest stadium i have ever been to. You can't beat the concession prices which all stadiums should do the same and quit being greedy. by @misswhitbit
