SAN DIEGO, HAVE YOU MISSED DRAG WRESTLING?! 💖🤼

Because we've missed the hell out of you! 💋

It's been a few months since our last Puta Lucha show on July 19, and we know things have been a little quiet. We also know many of you have been wondering what happened and what's next.

Well, we've got some explaining to do.

After an incredibly demanding summer, our cast, crew, and production team made the difficult decision to step away from Puta Lucha at Brass Rail.

But one thing never changed: our love for what we created and the people who made it possible.

We're incredibly proud of everything we built together. The characters, the rivalries, the stories, the ridiculous moments, and the unforgettable nights in that ring.

We're grateful to Brass Rail for giving us the opportunity to bring this vision to life. And to every fan who showed up, cheered, booed, laughed, screamed, and believed in what we were creating, THANK YOU! You made every moment worth it.

Puta Lucha is owned by Brass Rail, and while we helped bring that production to life, the name isn't ours to carry forward. Rather than leave behind our passion for drag wrestling, we've chosen to take everything we've learned and create something entirely our own.

Something that celebrates the talent and artistry of our performers while delivering the unforgettable experiences our fans deserve.

FOR THE TALENT. FOR THE FANS. FOR THE LOVE OF DRAG WRESTLING.

Introducing BADDIES THAT WRESTLE! 💖

Swipe through to hear our story, and we hope you'll join us for this next chapter.

BECAUSE BABY, WE'RE NOT DONE FIGHTING! 💋

More to come. Stay tuned! taken in San Diego, California by @misswhorchata

The drag closet clean out continues and nears the finishing line🥹💻👠

This time it’s SHOES!! I’m letting go of a bunch of heels, boots, and performance shoes that deserve a new home instead of sitting in my closet. Sizes range from women’s 8–13.5 and men’s 11–14, and everything is priced to MOVE.

I’m getting closer and closer to my laptop goal, so genuinely thank you to everyone who has bought something, shared my posts, or even just sent them to a friend. It’s helping me way more than you know. 🥹🫶🏽

Prices + sizes are on the photos. Everything is negotiable, buyer pays shipping, and I’m happy to send more pics or answer questions! DM me if you want anything 💕

Everything is negotiable, so please feel free to DM me with an offer! Buyer pays shipping and more pictures are available upon request 💗 All wigs are sold as is. Pricing + available wigs can be found through the facebook marketplace link in my bio or you can just DM me directly.

Even if you can’t buy anything, a share goes a long way 🥹 almost there y’all!! help send Whorchata to grad school with a functioning laptop 😭📚💻 taken in San Diego, California by @misswhorchata

okay y’all i am officially cleaning out my drag closet 😭💗

grad school is starting and ya girl desperately needs a laptop lol, so i figured it was finally time to let go of some of my drag that i just don’t wear anymore. i have a bunch of gently used plus size pieces, mostly sizes 22–28, that i would genuinely love to see go to another performer and get some more life out of them 🥹

everything i make from this is going straight toward helping me get a laptop for school 💻📚

links to everything are in my bio! you can also just DM me for pricing or questions about sizing/fit. everything is negotiable too, so please feel free to make me an offer!! i’m very willing to work something out.

and if you can’t buy anything, even just sharing this with another plus size performer or someone who might be interested would help me out sooo much 🫶🏽

thank y’all 💗

today feels a little different 🥹💗 today i’m 2 years sober.

when i first got sober i dont think i fully understood how much my life was going to change. and somewhere along the way, sober queerious drag brunch became such a huge part of that change. it became more than just another show i produce… it became proof to myself that queer joy doesnt have to revolve around drinking. that we can still be loud, messy, fabulous, emotional, dance, laugh our asses off & feel completely free while sober.

and getting to host this show month after month means more to me than i can really put into words. every person who has performed, bought a ticket, tipped a queen, brought a friend or just showed up and existed in this space has become apart of my own recovery story too 🥹

2 years ago i couldnt have imagined this life for myself. and now i get to create the kind of space i needed when i was figuring out what being sober could even look like for me.

thank you for letting me build this with you. truly. 💗

and we keep going 🥹 sunday sept 6th, sober queerious drag brunch is back. 🌈 taken in Hillcrest, San Diego by @misswhorchata

The organizers of Sober-Queerious Drag Brunch at Good News Bar — drag queen and trans Latina activist Whorchata and bar manager Troy Packer — aim to create a space that breaks from the part of queer community culture that promotes using substances to have fun and offers exploration for those who are sober-curious or “sober-queerious.”
