@americanspecialhockey ASHA: For many families, walking into a rink can feel intimidating or isolating. Bill helped change that. He helped create a space where athletes are welcomed exactly as they are, where parents can breathe, connect, and know their family belongs there too.

Now let’s help make sure more people see that impact.

Please support Bill Tobias as a finalist for the 2026 Willie O’Ree Community Hero Award presented by Discover.

This takes all of us:
• Vote today
• Vote again tomorrow
• Ask friends, coworkers, teammates, and hockey families to vote
• Help us spread this across the hockey community and beyond

ASHA @americanspecialhockey hockey weekend at the historic Hershey Arena in Hershey, Pennsylvania ~ one of the oldest ice rinks 🥅⛸️🏒 ASHA played hockey this weekend, in the same arena that Wilt Chamberlain set the single-game scoring record in the NBA by scoring 100 points for the Philadelphia Warriors in a 169–147 win over the New York Knicks on March 2, 1962, at Hershey Sports Arena in Hershey, PA. The arena opened on Dec. 19, 1936. #americanspecialhockeyassociation #hersheybears #hersheypark #hockey #hersheyarena taken in Hershey Park by @misswinenyc
