July 17, 2026 🎶 What’s better than an outdoor concert in the park in the summer? I’ll wait.

On Friday, @collideoscope_band played at the Lindenhurst Summer Concert series in the Village Square! They played 24 songs, tons of originals, and some fun covers (and some not so fun, looking at u Never Gonna Give You Up……) and what a beautiful night it was.

February 21, 2026 🎤 🇰🇷 If there’s one thing about me, it’s that I love concerts even if I don’t know the artist. I’m always willing to see a new to me artist if I’m invited (and the ticket is cheap (or free) and the venue is close by) - so that’s how I ended up seeing @twicetagram TWICE at UBS Arena on Saturday night!

I’m not deep into Kpop, I only know some older groups and don’t follow it, so I didn’t even know about TWICE before I heard they were coming to UBS Arena.

This was actually my first girl group Kpop show! I’ve only seen boy groups before so another first!

TWICE put on a great show and were really fun. Their music seemed to span more than just pop music which I appreciated. Their stage set up was great, with a 360 stage and seating all around. There was the center main stage and two stages on either side, connected to the middle one by a catwalk. The songs were catchy and choreography was everything I expected from a Kpop show!

Glad I decided to spend my Saturday night at a concert~

January 14, 2026 🎤 After falling in love with @iamhalsey last summer, I was glad to be seeing her again just 6 months later at a smaller venue - Hammerstein Ballroom. She played 3 nights in NYC and we got tickets for the 2nd night.

Ended up chilling in the back instead of trying to fight the crowds and I was happy with that decision, having space is nice!

This was a ‘Back to Badlands’ tour, celebrating the 10th anniversary of her debut album Badlands so she played the album in full, but not in order, and with other songs thrown in.

My favorite part was the unexpected special guests! She didn’t have special guests at any of the previous shows, but she brought out Lauren Mayberry of CHVRCHES to sing ‘The Mother We Share’ which was pretty cool!

I also really enjoyed her turning ‘Closer’ into an anime opening song, complete with video of anime forms of her and her band, rather than the original version of it.

For the encore portion, playing ‘Trouble’ acoustically, she spoke about how she’s influenced by music of all genres, but pop and emo music has influenced her the most. She started strumming ‘Cute Without the ‘E’’ by Taking Back Sunday and I thought oh ok cool, she’ll do a cover. And she said, “Should we do it for real? For real for real? Is Adam Lazzara here?” and that is when I completely lost my mind!!!!!! She brought out Adam from TBS and they played the song together! What are the chances I was at this night of the 3 nights?! How perfect! It was insane and I was shaking, I loved it so much! I didn’t know Halsey special guests were a thing, but when the JoBros let me down, Halsey did not LOL.

Until next time Halsey! Can’t wait to see what she does next.

🎶 2nd Annual Missy Tour for 2025 - a tour poster for my concerts this year.

Did we attend any of the same concerts?

52 shows across 6 states and 2 countries (!!!) - the most concerts I’ve ever attended in one calendar year.

This year I took a chance and saw a lot of new to me artists and artists I may not have been as familiar with, but if the opportunity presented itself (or cheap/free tickets!) I took it and attended that show.

Some highlights include:

🌊 Halsey at Jones Beach, where it was freezing on June 1st at the beach but I fell in love with her and her show - such theatrics!

🇰🇷 Big year for me to see Kpop! Stray Kids, ENHYPEN, and G-Dragon - loved every show, and grateful I could see these artists.

🪕 The Lumineers have been on my bucket list for ages, did not disappoint.

⛰️ Andrew McMahon at Red Rocks - a bucket list venue for me, and I’m so happy my first show was for Jack’s Mannequin, Something Corporate, and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness.

🖤 My Chemical Romance took us to their land of Draag and what a journey hearing The Black Parade in full - yup, still emo!

🎸 Oasis is a band I never thought I would see live, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity when they were so close to me - incredible.

🎹 ⛴️ Isaac Slade’s first solo performances on Vashon Island in Washington state. I took a plane, rented a car, and then took a ferry to get there. What a journey, absolutely worth it. (Friends made it even better)

🇫🇷 My first European concert was for ONE OK ROCK with dear friends, celebrating their marriage by seeing the band whose concert they met at. Timing worked out for this one, it wasn’t planned that way!

🦌 🌳 The Academy Is… 20th Anniversary of Almost Here tour wow I love this band and this album and traveling to see them 5x in a row.

💃 If you told me 6 months ago I’d see the Jonas Brothers 2x this year I never would’ve believed you. Their special guests intrigued me and I wanted to attend to experience it for myself. 5 Seconds of Summer were a bonus special guest that sealed the deal.

I can’t wait to see where music will take me in 2026! ✈️

What a special night. A full-circle evening in NYC with people who’ve been there from the beginning—and those just discovering us.

Mercury Lounge, you were beautiful. We’re so grateful. 🥰

February 1, 2025 🎤 If there’s something you should know about me, it’s that I love Ben Barnes.

(If there’s something else you should know about me it’s that I post things months after they happen, but it’s my IG and I’ll do what I want!!!)

For literal YEARS I was hoping he would come to NY Comic Con, then with Shadow & Bone popularity, he finally did. I remember telling him how I loved his music and I hope he does more of it, and in January 2025 he released his first album. He played his first concert in NYC in February 2023 with just an EP out and only a handful of songs to his name, so I’m sooo happy he toured the US again with this full album!

And before you ask - yes, @benbarnes does music. Some of you never saw that video of him in a boyband in 2004 on a British talent show and it shows. (They’re called Hyrise and the song is called Leading Me On, its on Youtube. It’s fantastic*.) (Yes I’ve been following him for a long time, thank you for noticing.)

I was a little hesitant to go at first, but past me bought a ticket so future me was like alright guess I’ll go and I’m really glad I did. It was even better than 2 years ago, and I think the larger size venue/stage helped. He played Webster Hall and while it wasn’t sold out, it was a good size crowd, and I personally like the venue so I was happy with it overall.

Ben played for just shy of 2 hours including banter, so I felt the pacing was very good! He seemed very grateful that people showed up and continuously thanked the audience.

Ben gave a great speech about never giving up on your dreams before ‘Someday.’ He said the song is about not letting other people get in the way of pursuing your dreams. “If you take one thing away from this evening, please let it come from a man who’s trying to do pop music in his 40s, it’s not ever too late for you to try doing anything new.” This was wholesome 😊

It was a really great show and I look forward to seeing Ben again next time he’s in town!

January 13, 2025 🎻 My first concert of 2025 was a good one and my favorite kind - small venue and indie band with good vibes! I saw @banditsontherun at @theboweryelectric.

(is this post 2 months late? yes. but are Bandits on the Run playing another show on Monday, March 10th so I needed to let you all KNOW to COME WITH ME and see them again? also yes.)

I only recently discovered them when @adrian.blake.enscoe, one of the three members, was in @sweptawaymusical on Broadway! Figured I’d give them a listen, liked the folk indie sound I was hearing, decided why not see them on a Monday night for $20! And I’m so glad I did.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to a small venue like this and wow did I miss it. I love the vibes. I love how intimate it is.

I did give Bandits a listen beforehand so I knew partially what I was getting into, but experiencing their music live was even more fun than I could have expected! I was right in front of the stage area for a perfect view - almost too close LOL.

Bandits includes @sydneytorin and @reginastrayhorn, and between the three of them there are a bunch of instruments played! I have to admit I always love a band with a cello and Sydney was amazing and great to watch her play.

Besides their own songs, the band is in the process of writing a musical and they performed a song from that. They’re also working on an adaptation of What’s Eating Gilbert Grape and performed a few songs from that too. They’re busy people!

Bandits on the Run has a few months residency at Bowery Electric, including March, April, and May, and I already bought my ticket for the March show - I’m looking forward to experiencing this again!
