VERY GRATEFUL!!!

September is SICKLE CELL AWARENESS MONTH and it still breaks my heart to know that many of us are making selfish decisions!! The pain is out of this world and no child deserves to be born with this burden!!
Today, I am asking everyone to go get yourself checked so you know your genotype status please!!!
If you make that selfish decision your children will hate you till the end of time. The reason I don’t hate my parents is because at the time I was born there wasn’t this much awareness! I watched them heartbroken every time we make that emergency trip to the hospital! I knew if they had a way they would have taken the pain away from me and suffered in my place.

I’m also here to appreciate everyone who has made this journey so easy for me, First is God (he knows how to show up and show out!!) My late parents, my siblings @onepartgrey @fathers_pride @mmxvii_xo , my lover, my pastor PST. Young, @lucheez3 @ikechukwuokorafor @jennyoseh @drchuby and not forgetting my celebrity friends @thestyleinfidel @do2dtun, to mention but a few you all make this sickle cell journey seem like a walk in the park.
If you are here and you do not know your genotype status please get to the nearest hospital to get yourself checked.
I’m also appealing to everyone to reach out to any sickle cell warriors around you and help in any little way that you can! The medications and hospital visits has become unbearable because of the situation in the country.
