Finally got around to opening my NOS parking brake alarm light. Fuse block already has the terminal so installing was simple. It came with a template for drilling the dash and mounting next to the ignition switch, but I fabbed a little bracket and mounted it on the bottom of the dash using existing holes instead. I geek tf out over these #NOSparts and accessories. by @mist_blue_66

Drove the 65 to Pigeon Forge for the fall rod run. 600 miles round trip including climbing Jellico Mountain. Didn’t skip a beat or burn a drop of oil, and I managed to get 20.35 mpg!! My folks own a cabin down there and the bears are like squirrels at this point. Crazy to see them just walk around right by us with zero fear. #pigeonforge #pigeonforgerodrun #65nova #supersport by @mist_blue_66

Spent Friday at the @nashvillesuperspeedway for the 4th annual @triplecrownofrodding. I hadn’t been since the inaugural show in 2023, and it’s grown into a behemoth. This show has quantity or quality! You will only see this level and amount of amazing builds at this show. On display were AMBR and Slonaker winners as well as Goodguys and NSRA dominant winners. It’s almost overwhelming tbh. Not to mention over 200 vendors and builders setup. If you’ve never attended, you need to make plans for 2027. #triplecrownofrodding by @mist_blue_66

Same show, same parking spot, one year apart. I love my 65, but I really miss my 66. Anxious to get her back and get some closure from the accident last October. by @mist_blue_66

Car is still sexy asf after all these years. My father purchased this car in 1984 and restored it for the second time in 1992. Car was painted using PPG attitude black and it stills shines like it did 35 years ago. I was very fortunate to take a 150 mile road trip with my wife and folks to the #cynthianarodrun yesterday. Glad to see the old man still whipping his baby. I cherish these moments by @mist_blue_66

Somehow managed to fit my cooler, toolbox, cleaning supplies, some groceries, my father’s mobility scooter with chair, two lawn chairs, and both our luggage in the trunk of this tiny car. They truly don’t build em like they used to 😃 by @mist_blue_66

Vacation Mode: unlocked. I’m not sure I’ve ever needed time off from reality more than now. My view for the next week is outstanding. I’ve got the bay behind me and the Gulf of America in front. Truly nothing like Mirimar Beach, Florida taken in Miramar Beach, Florida by @mist_blue_66
