Happy dog mom Monday! We have some new faces with us, so I thought I’d reintroduce myself 👋

My name is Felicia and I’m a chiropractor in the GTA. I primarily treat humans but I’m hoping to be able to add four legged friends to my patient list soon (stay tuned 👀). School has been kicking my butt hence us being a bit MIA around here.

As I tend to be the one to take all the photos for this account, I rarely have the chance to take any photos with Datsun and myself. I’m so grateful that @souldog_collective was able to capture these memories for me 💕

Fun facts about me:
•I love being in the kitchen and trying new recipes (human or dog friendly)
•Current obsession: making clay magnets
•I like drinking plain hot water 🙊
•I have quite the collection of plants

I’d love to learn more about you, so please say hi and tell me something about you!

Happy international dog day to all the pups and pawrents 🐾

It’s been almost a year since my partner and I adopted this cutie pie and it’s been one hell of a ride. We’ve learned so much about this cuddle bug and I like to think we’re helping him live his best life. That’s not to say it’s been an easy journey. For the last few months we’ve noticed an increase in leash reactivity and have been working hard to make him feel safe and less anxious. There are days when we come back from a walk feeling absolutely defeated and wondering if all the training we’ve been doing has worked. Then the next day we’ll have the best walk with no issues. It can be challenging at times, but I know it’s something we can work on and get better at. I’m so thankful to have found a community here on IG who have also been real about their issues with reactivity and how they’re dealing with them. Owning a pet is hard work, needless to say I do not regret a minute of it. I hope we get to spoil this guy forever 🥰

Dog dad & I felt it was really important to have a first look with Datsun as he wouldn’t be able to be present for our ceremony. I’m so glad we made this decision as he’s such a big part of our lives.

We didn’t have any photos of all three of us as we wanted to have our first look during our private vows. Thankfully @jesss.hg came in clutch with her photoshop skills 🙊

Did your furry friend participate in your special day?

Dog exercises don’t have to be fancy to be effective! Here are a few exercises that you can do without any equipment.

Have you tried any of these with your dog?

Did you know that animal chiropractic has been around in Ontario for over 25 years! It is a safe and effective form of care for animals who have mobility and performance related concerns.

Feel free to post any questions you have about animal chiropractic or DM me

Come shop with us in our garden!

So far we’ve harvested: kale, spinach, beans, strawberries, zucchini, and raspberries. Hopefully our tomatoes and peppers will be ready to pick soon.

What do you think is Datsun’s favourite veg/fruit to harvest 🙊 by @misterdatsun
