This was a wild weekend, inside and out. ❤️

Everything from processing what would’ve been my mom’s 70th birthday, to spending most of Anime NYC solo, to still getting the chance to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones.

As someone who naturally keeps to himself, there was a lot to process, seeing how things have changed, realizing some IG faces may always just remain IG faces, and learning how to move through a space like this on my own terms.

But honestly, it was still a pleasure just to be there. 🙏🏾

The Kagurabachi panel was everything 🔥 and getting the chance to rep Deku and Kakashi the Copy Ninja, two characters I hold very close , made the weekend even more meaningful. 🟢⚡️🥷🏾🍃

More than anything, I definitely exceeded my own expectations.

I’ve walked into this building before with some of the closest people in my life, and some of those people aren’t here anymore. That part will always stay with me.

So to the ones who helped shape these memories, whether you’re still here or watching from somewhere else…

you’ll always be represented. ❤️

Choosing faith over fear.
Trusting the process.
Healing while growing.
Showing up for myself and others.
Becoming the counselor, man, and person God is still shaping me to be.

Happy heavenly birthday 💐🤍🎉🙏🏼

I still feel that ache when I think about how long it’s been since I last saw you. As the years pass, it hits me in new ways — knowing I can’t make new memories or take new pictures with you, and feeling that same emptiness with Mom too.

I miss you deeply. I know loss is something everyone carries, but this one will always stay with me. Some days feel heavy, but then I think of you — your strength, your selflessness, your kindness, and that heart of gold that shaped who I am.

Dear Mom, 🕊️💐

It feels longer than a year since I have done one of these. I just wanted to say that I don’t forget you, and I will never take anyone else’s lessons out there for granted, because I have to exist in this world without you. ❤️

I can’t begin to tell you how much I wish I could have changed so many things, but that’s not how life works with the past. 🕰️

I just want you to know that things are hard, but I try. I’m so thankful for Rachel and everyone else I still have in my life. She is an amazing mother and the rock of our family in your place. 🤍

No one will ever be as strong as you were, but we are trying. 🌹

America is so much harder than you remember, Mom, and some days I don’t know if I can get through it. I’m happy Dad is by your side, and I miss you both so much. 🕊️❤️

If you have your mom in your life, cherish her and never take that superwoman for granted. 🌷

To my dear nephew, thank you for being born kid. You have been such a pleasure to have in my life as you have been through everything with me. From the good days and bad you never judged me or let ego run you mad. One of the many characteristics you hold that make you such an amazing dude. Your not only a man I can be proud of but one im honored to call also a friend and brother alike. Today is your day and the reason for my speech is just to acknowledge how awesome you are and how much I love you kid. A mother's role transcends the test of time, she is the breath we take, the host of our soul, she kept us safe from all storms which brewed, striking anyone who opposed her bloodline, a prestigious guardian whose love is unmatched, unified by her wisdom as alpha to the creed, our father in heaven beloves her for all eternity, we pay homage today for every other day, our sworn duty to upkeep our dignity, representing our mother with all our gratuity, eternal love and light, we thank our mothers give praise for the gift of life.
