We’ve been so busy I haven’t been able to express one of my major accomplishments. We had the opportunity of a lifetime being able to service Janet Jackson for her nail services.

What’s cool about this opportunity is my very first celebrity client happens to be someone I saved my money for to go buy her CDs with my allowance money as a kid, copy her dance moves and clothing style! 😂 We sure did run around the house digging up her CDs! I could only find 2! And I know I have more! We feel so blessed to have the chance to work with someone as talented as Ms. Janet Jackson - MICHAEL JACKSON King of Pop’s sister!! I tried to remain calm but deep down inside we were nervous, and screaming the whole time!

I’ve worked hard on The Nail Remedy, I consistently go above and beyond to exceed expectations & deliver the highest quality of work. I try to keep my enthusiasm and positive attitude with hopes of it being contagious to everything & everyone around me. And trust me, I have my bad days! I can’t thank everyone enough for all of your contributions in helping me reach my goals.

Love always, balance hard work, respect & kindness! ❤️

Never underestimate a little girl with a BIG personality.

She’s definitely got my laugh. 😂 by @misty_beyondthenailtable

I’m not saying don’t work hard. Trust me, I KNOW how to work hard. 😂 I’m saying work hard toward something that eventually gives you your TIME back.

Because what’s the point of making money if you never have time to enjoy your life, your kids, or the things you worked so hard for?

At this stage of my life, I’m not chasing trends, approval, or the appearance of success.

I’m chasing freedom, peace, ownership, and a legacy.

And if I have to start over a hundred times to build that life, then 101 it is. 😂 by @misty_beyondthenailtable

Imagine creating ONE digital product that can sell while you’re busy doing nails.

No extra appointments.
No staying late.
No sacrificing another weekend.

I don’t ask what’s for dinner- I ask what can I create before these groceries expire.

somebody decided to put the entire video in slow motion. 😭 But for some reason it was only our voices! 😂😂😂😂

At 23, I wanted to prove myself to the world. At 36, I’m learning that I don’t owe the world an explanation.

The goal isn’t to stay young forever. It’s to become someone your younger self would be proud of. by @misty_beyondthenailtable

And somehow, with 10 different job titles, I’m STILL the only employee who doesn’t get a lunch break, sick days, or a paycheck!

Just because I’m capable of doing everything doesn’t mean I should have to.

YOU deserve support, rest, and an identity outside of taking care of everybody else.

That’s why I’m building…Give me an industry, and I’ll find 10 ways to monetize it. by @misty_beyondthenailtable

Here’s something I wish I had understood earlier in my career…

Start thinking beyond the appointment book. Create digital products, teach what you know, sell products, build systems, and develop income streams that don’t require you to physically show up every single day.

There’s nothing wrong with working behind the chair or nail table. But there IS something wrong with believing that’s the only way you can make money. by @misty_beyondthenailtable

Watch this nail tutorial. It’s VERY educational. 😂🎓

somewhere along the way, I realized I was showing up for everyone except myself.

Life has humbled me in ways I never expected. I’ve built things, lost things, started over, cried in silence, and still managed to wake up and keep going.
