Wanted to give a visual teaser to announce my project “City of Angels“ on display for @lcclondon Postgraduate Photography Show next week 🖤🖤🖤 “City of Angels” explores the fractured anatomy of the Los Angeles and Hollywood dream alongside personal meditations of a hometown left behind. Constructed through a lens of dark romanticism and nostalgia, the work investigates the intersection of dream and memory, beauty and decay, and freedom and isolation. Inspired by the work of David Lynch, the narrative takes a fragmentary approach to Los Angeles not as a geographic location, but as an emotional realm full of longing, contradictions, and the weight of dreams. Full project to be shown at London College of Communication, Elephant and Castle, SE1 6SB Opening night: 5th November, 6-9pm Open to public: 6th November, 2-8pm 7th November, 10am-5pm 9th November, 2-8pm @lcc_ma_photography @lcc_ual_macp link in bio to book free exhibition tickets x . . . . . #davidlynch #losangelesphotography #ualshows2026 #darkanddreamy #mulhollanddrive by @mistyday6

a few more of my favorites from EMPTY DIARY Empty Diary explores the quiet, often invisible realities of deteriorating mental health and the emotional states that exist behind closed doors. Each image explores different stages of loneliness, disconnection and internal conflict that are felt deeply within the body although difficult to articulate. The photographs visualize the numbness and desperation that accompany you during these periods of emotional isolation. Through its use of domestic spaces and physical restraint, this series reflects how the mind can alter the most simple acts of existing. Together, these pieces form an intimate documentation of what it feels like to be consumed by depression. EMPTY DIARY – SYDNEY E HAMILTON ISSUE 001 Avolition Sitting in a bath like its a shallow grave; drowning in the air but numb to the warmth meant to comfort. Everyday tasks become more mundane and out of reach. It’s not laziness but, rather, a paralysis instead. Out there distractions soften it; in here there’s nothing to buffer the noise. The world feels distant and superficial. The overwhelming sense of disorientation and disorganization can push this other person away without meaning to. When this occurs, all you want is to bring that person as close as possible, yearning for the care that you think will heal yourself In the process of holding this person so close the entrapment slowly bleeds onto them, inevitably trapping them in the same state you currently find yourself in. The direct, off-putting cause of this is that you now have two people needing to be close; except now, they have a constant block between the two of them. What was once by @mistyday6

magic with mans on the bluffs at dusk💙🔹🌀🩵 the sky, the clouds, the sagebrush and the waves…everything was soft, calming. moody and serene. my favorite. i’ve had the pleasure of having the loveliest @mansduhart in my life for over ten years, they were one of the first people I shot with when I took up portrait film photography in the spring of 2021 and have been a continual collaborator and inspiration throughout my photo journey <333 always so lovely creating with them. these dusky shots where taken in the south bay where we grew up over this past winter. . . #filmphotography #portraitsonfilm #duskphotography #moodyphotography ethereal_dark dark ethereal soft dusk film portrait photographer los angeles palos verdes bluffs by @mistyday6
