Maybe the last day of climbing outdoors for the season. We hit Blair woods in Pawtuckaway to just put in some easy mileage. What a hidden gem of a spot! So different from the other area I have been here, and the climbing I needed. Easy grade, grippy rock, and tshirt temps with this absolute babe of a husband. 🫶 by @mistyforsberg

Pumpkin carving success with @efixroy . Now to turn the camera on and see who nibbles on them! by @mistyforsberg

My shoulder is still pretty awful, and I am shocked at how much strength I have lost in that arm. Although I wanted to be in a terrible mood about it, I really couldn’t with @efixroy and @catvaillancourt keeping me company. They are both so motivating (and so strong!). Thank you both for the psych, fun, and encouragement in Pawtuckaway! Looking forward to being back there monday! by @mistyforsberg

The number of clients I have removed “semi permanent” cosmetic tattoos from is going to make me go insane. They aren’t told it will fade and need a touch up over time, they are told it will just magically go away. Because science doesn’t exist on the face? Because PMU pigment is made of fairy dust? Stop making laser technicians pass on the bad news 5 years later when their brows or freckles are still there, and they can’t figure out why. Stop letting clients get facial tattoos without properly educating them about the lifetime commitment. (Also, after the time I spent making this in English and French, if meta says it is AI, I am going to throw my phone) by @mistyforsberg

What a perfect couple of days. We got warm-ish temps, blue skies, and all the sunshine. My shoulder is still hit and miss on if it wants to work, but just moving and being outdoors is such a win. More importantly, the time with my love as we talked about life, got surprised by beavers near our camping spot, booped cow snoots, and had a wonderful time. It was so needed. Cross your fingers for one more week of climbing weather in smuggs. by @mistyforsberg

Every day, forever. 💜 by @mistyforsberg

@allenfalkner shared a pineapple pancake video with me, so naturally I had to try it. 5 stars, maybe my favorite pancakes ever. Cinnamon pancake batter, pineapple rings, maple syrup. Absolutely delicious waylay to start the day! by @mistyforsberg

12 weeks until Bishop. I don’t know if I will be able to climb or not, but it won’t be for a lack of fucking trying. 6:30am workout to start the day. (And can still deadlift 220 for reps!) LFG! by @mistyforsberg

There are a million reason I love @efixroy .. but the biggest is his heart. I have seen him be so tired he can barely move, and still make time for his family. I have seen him get kicked by people he trusted and still have his first thought go to their wellbeing. He has dealt with burnout and still made his first focus on if his employees are happy and thriving. It is a rare and often discouraging trait to carry through the world, but man what a beautiful part of a person. I am so lucky to have this man as a partner to navigate life with. by @mistyforsberg

I spent the last week reading everything I could find about each party to ensure I could be informed before making a choice. It still feels great to be able to vote in Canada, and I definitely don’t take it lightly.

It is still so strange (and wonderful) to be in a country with multiple parties where the differences are political, policy, taxes, ect rather than arguing if certain groups deserve basic human rights. Being able to read through each platform and find areas I agree with and disagree with is such a contrast to the black and white of the US system I grew up with. by @mistyforsberg

When you have a shoulder that doesn’t give you the range of motion for squats… get creative. Sling + lower weights + 5 second isometric squats was a total win! Now on to physio exercises to get this thing patched back up. by @mistyforsberg

I haven’t been on social media much, so I completely forgot to post these. I managed to do two days of very light climbing and ended up mostly pain free! Even without the climbing, seeing friends and being in the sunshine with @efixroy for a couple days of perfect fall weather was incredible. I was sad to stop on this beautiful v6, but until the shoulder is better, I couldn’t manage to hang on my arm to float a foot over where I needed it. Overall though, just happy to be moving. And I found a harder project to keep me motivated to get this thing healed up. by @mistyforsberg
