Yesterday was completely amazing! We got to see Micky perform The Monkees 60th Anniversary tour again this time with all the kids. Plus Dawn and I got to do the Meet & Greet where I was able to give him my crocheted Micky doll and he signed mine. Now we will always have a matching set! He was so sweet and still puts on one hell of a show at 81 years old 🩷 taken in Pickens County Performing Arts Center by @mistymistletoe

Timber Wolf is already 5 months old! I like to call this the wonky ears phase 😆
This little guy is sweet, smart, and cuddly. And adorable which is a good thing because he’s also a fast zooming, yarn stealing, couch hurdling maniac. 🐶🩷 by @mistymistletoe

Winky crossed the rainbow bridge this morning and we will miss her forever. Was she a good dog? No. Was she a friendly dog? Also no. She was a fierce and grouchy meatloaf, but she loved her family. And we loved her. That crazy dog would have fought a mountain lion for us. She hated everyone for at least 10 minutes, usually longer. A crotchety old lady even at a young age. I don’t think she ever forgave us for bringing Piper home, but she’s done good with Timber. Maybe she knew we would need him soon.
She made us laugh daily, tolerated me dressing her up, enjoyed a good hike, and loved all fuzzy blankets and bananas. We called her a circus freak because she walked on her back legs for treats. Winky was also a master snuggle pup. She loved her dad the most. She never left my side through 3 major surgeries. I called her my hot water bottle. If any of us were sick, she was ready to play nurse.
So, maybe she was really the best bad dog.
I will miss her, but hope she was able to bunny hop over the bridge and beg for treats by chipmunking and dancing upon arrival.

I keep forgetting to post my year long project! I love my temperature blanket! Each row represents the temperature in Swannanoa with a few special things like snow, hail, an earthquake, and two nights of Aurora Borealis! I’m really proud of myself for keeping up with this project. I finished the days on January 3rd, but took me two more weeks to do the edge. Anyway, just wanted to share a bit of my journey 😊 by @mistymistletoe

Welcome to the family Timber! He’s a red tri Australian Shepherd who is actually Piper’s half nephew. 😊 Don’t let that sweet face fool you. He’s mischievous, fast, and howls like a baby timber wolf. He’s also outrageously smart and sweet! Piper is happy we got her a puppy to play with (most of the time 😂) and I can’t wait to watch their friendship grow. 🐶🩷 by @mistymistletoe
