Honouring the women who lost their lives to prejudice and patriarchy.....my Witches of Scotland tartan scarf will be worn with pride.

"Designed to memorialise those who suffered in Scotland as a result of The Witchcraft Act 1563 to 1736, this tartan is designed to make products that create a 'living memorial'. The black and grey colours represent the dark times of this period and the ashes of those burned. It also incorporates red and pink, symbolic of the legal tapes used to bind documents both then and now. The threadcount of the design incorporates the years1563 and 1736 represented as single entries, 1+5+6+3 = 15 and 1+7+3+6 = 17. These are shown in black and grey surrounding a white check of 3 threads representing the three objectives of the Witches of Scotland organisation which are to obtain a pardon, an apology, and memorials to those who suffered. The large black section of 173 threads, intended to represent the 173 years of darkness, and the red & pink sections are repeated 3 times, for the 3 prime objectives of the Witches of Scotland organisation." @witches.of.scotland #witch by @mistywhimsy

So, it's been a while...and in the meantime I've been learning a few things, one of which is broomsmithing. Here is a customised sweeper off to it's new home. As a blessing to a new business every element of this broom was carefully selected. Gold and green for abundance and growth, unakite to clear the path for new opportunities. This broom will help sweep out any old or negative energy, whilst attracting abundance, growth and opportunity. Wishing it's new keeper every success for the future! Kudos to Alyssa @hearthcraftbrooms for the fabulous workshop and inspiration!

It's Autumn in a box! My spinning journey has progressed nicely...with lots of practice!
