Over the past year(yes, shot this sporadically from Jan-August) I got to produce + DP my friend @engel_jared's wildly ambitious short "The Mascot Race" which follows three musicians across every mode of transportation in NYC as they try to get to a gig and get diverted by all manner of hijinks.

I'd thank our absolutely kickass cast and crew in excruciating detail, but I'm mortified I'll leave someone out.

Tomorrow, we're doing a premier party in Red Hook at the Waterfront Museum

One of the really cool things about this project is that it will be live scored, so it's a really unique way to see a film.

I just wanted to share some of my favorite stills and say... buy your damn tickets (link in story) before they sell out.

Hey everyone, in 2 days we will premiere the project that I’ve spent the last 10 months working on, and I thought I’d share some never before seen shots from the making of The Mascot Race!! This was a LOT of work but also a LOT of fun! At this moment, there are only 15 tickets left! IT WILL SELL OUT! So if you want to be there on the barge on Thursday night, I’d recommend getting your tickets ASAP! The weather looks great, hope to see you there! Link below for tix. by @mitchell_cheng_

filmed by mi cariño, Camila. The last few weeks she has been working on a short film, a mediation on isolation and complicity in a failed capitalist system. This is an improvisation I did for the piece. by @mitchell_cheng_
