this is a post that I have been dreading to make. my high school football career has been nothing short of a winding up and down rollercoaster, sadly that rollercoaster has finally come to a halt. as a kid, I always dreamed of winning a state championship my senior year and that standard set as a young kid fell short. while I will be playing more football in the future, nothing will ever compare to running out of that tunnel with my brothers every friday night in front of a hometown crowd. we came up short of our goal, but it isn’t always about winning football games, but more importantly the impact you can make to the people around you while high school seems so short lived. I can only hope that I made the positive impact as a person to the people and players around me as much as they did to me. this town is truly special and I will forever cherish these memories deeply. the quickest four years of my life. so long smackover friday nights… 2 signing out. taken in Smackover Buckaroo Stadium by @mitchell_polk6
