@coolumpinesmx where do I start, the track that I’ve called my home track for the last 8 or so years had its final gate drop over the weekend. I’ve had many ups and downs at that track from blowing my knee out to going top 5 at a sunny state round. I’ve met so many great people at that track and I’m fortunate enough to call many of them really good friends. Great work to @mattholliday87 and @carlyh___ for putting in an unreal amount of effort on even practice days to mx nationals. Sad to see the place go and wish I could have been out there riding. Thank you coolum for the memories by @mitchellbond403

Bitter sweet weekend for the first round at coolum and my first race In a while, started off really well in qualy and moto 1 finishing up p3, second moto got pushed off the track and started to not be able to turn properly and finished 7th with a crash, after the second moto I raced home to straitened my front end and see why I wasn’t able to turn, head stem nut had come loose and was hardly on, so I took the whole head stem out and gave it all a clean and regreased it all, come out for the races today and had good starts even pulling the holeshot in the first back 2 back sprint but crashed every moto while in a podium spot or battling for a podium position, ended up 6th for the round. Time to get back some bike fitness
Can’t thank everyone for the support

Good first race back, came into the race with low expectations and then after practice and race 1 those goals quickly changed, got top 4 starts in both motos and ended up going 7,6 for 6th overall with top 5 laptimes even with an enduro suspension set up, sad to see the track go but hey we went out with a bang, thanks everyone for the support and keen to keep at the gym work over the “off season” and come out swinging for next season by @mitchellbond403
