Here’s a little throwback to last week ✨ It was a busy one for our team, filled with incredibly productive rehearsals as we shared our developed performance of ‘Up in the Sky’, before heading straight to Belgium 🇧🇪 to perform as part of City of Wings, Ypres (@gevleugelde_stad_ieper). Now, we’re more than ready to dive into touring at full speed 🚀 Here’s a sneak peek at where you can catch Up in the Sky next: 📍 Sat 23 May, Barnsley Garden Party, Barnsley, UK (@barnsleycouncilofficial) 📍 Sat 6 June, Eastleigh Unwrapped, Eastleigh (@thepointeastleigh) 📍 Sat 22 & Sun 23 August, Between the Tides, Redcar (@betweenthetidesfestival) We can’t wait to see you there 💫 🎥 Video by @jc.dop #AutinDanceTheatre #UpInTheSky #OutdoorArts #UKTour #DanceTheatre #CityOfWings #Throwback #OnTour taken in London, United Kingdom by @mitchelldavis__

✨ Open Rehearsal Invitation ✨ We’d love to invite you to an informal open rehearsal of our newest family-friendly duet, Zig Zag!, on Wednesday 26 November, 2pm–4pm at FABRIC, Birmingham. This is a relaxed drop-in window — arrive when you can, stay as long as you like, and catch work-in-progress sections, notes, and a cuppa with the team. There will also be an opportunity for a Q&A, giving participants the chance to learn about the development of the piece in real time and ask any questions. It would be wonderful to share where we’re up to and hear any thoughts from friends in the sector and regional promoters. About Zig Zag! (duet for families 5+) A light-hearted, non-verbal dance-theatre duet where bamboo rods and wooden reels become bridges, lines and rules to remake. Expect crisp physical comedy, crafted object work and flashes of partner acrobatics. Portable, low/no power and perfect for high streets, greens and school spaces. 📩 If you’d like to join us and find out more, please email annalise@autindt.co.uk. The viewing is free, but spaces are limited, so booking is essential. by @mitchelldavis__

We’re thrilled to share that, with the support of Applause, we’ve officially begun the Research & Development of our brand-new production Zig Zag! ✨ Zig Zag! is a playful, non-verbal dance-theatre duet where wooden reels and bamboo rods become a living landscape of choices. A rod might be a line to cross, a bridge to share, or a rule to rethink. Reels roll, stack and scatter as obstacles, tools or meeting points. As lines are drawn and redrawn, our two performers journey from chaos to calm, connection to division — discovering when to pause, repair and try again. Created for families and mixed-age audiences (5+), the show blends sharp physical comedy, inventive object play and bursts of partner acrobatics. With bold visuals, rhythmic flow and plenty of audience-friendly moments, Zig Zag! is ideal for outdoor spaces, from village greens to high streets and school playgrounds. Portable, low-tech and relaxed in tone, it’s a feel-good invitation to collaborate, rebuild and reimagine. 📩 Currently in R&D and gearing up for festival previews in 2026, to find out more, please get in touch: hello@autindt.co.uk by @mitchelldavis__
