Stacked lenticular clouds build over Denali, The High One, early April, Central Alaska Range, 2023. A few weeks late on this, but our little sweet little bun is rising everyday 🥹

She’s already been on two major road trips and recently went to her first concert - @florenceandthemachine. 95% of the time, she sleeps through the night (😅) and just has the built-in bug to move and live.

Her endless smiles are the best part of our day, and she’s discovering more about herself each week-from lifting her head, finding her hands, and even smiling at herself in the mirror.

A little BTS on my other life with @monocountysar. Often times you never know who it is you’ll be helping. Other times, you do. We put our work hat on and respond like we would for any other, pursuing the best outcome possible. It just doesn’t always work out that way.

Rest in peace @bernierosow - thanks for all your kindness over the years and for the endless inspiration.

Really really proud of my teammates and those I get the pleasure of serving on rescues with. You all are the best people I know.

Our perfect little bean is 6 weeks today! Somehow it’s been the fastest and slowest time we’ve ever experienced. She fills us with joy every day, and we are surrounded by a love like never before. Thanks for all of the well wishes, and thanks for the patience if I haven’t responded to you. We’ve been in the trenches, though they are a wonderful place to be!

We have been doing our best to get Ryland out and about, especially around town, and we even just returned from a successful 10-day trip away! This beautiful human is getting more curious and expressive every day. She absolutely MUST have her hands free/accessible, and sleeps best right next to us. Unsurprisingly, she is also a hound for her mama’s magic milk. She is already over 11lbs, and up a couple diaper and clothes sizes 😳😩🥹

Exactly one week ago, the love of my life gave birth to the second love of my life. Our little baby girl, Ryland, was born in beautiful Bishop, on the night of a perfect Spring day, after a complicated labor and delivery. I am so grateful to report a now-happy and healthy mama and baby!

My heart is bursting with the addition of this perfect little angel, and at the strength and resilience of my queen @rweimer22. 😭 You are the pinnacle of beauty.

We are in a debt of gratitude for all of the immense help we have received, both on the lead up to, and following birth. To all of our amazing friends and family that love us and support us, THANK YOU! We love you right back! I am moved deeply, especially, by the love and support from my @monocountysar teammates (aka FAMILY), who all remain committed to the betterment of everyone around them, and we feel it. 💗

We are also immensely grateful for my own Mom, who was with us for the birth and for most of the first week. We wouldn’t trade those days for anything!

On this endeavor of which all of humanity precedes us, we are overjoyed and insanely excited to be on the great ride of parenthood.

Miracle March may not have much snow, but it certainly has lived up to its name with the birth of our sweet girl.

The good times were good, and they are only getting better. 🥰

Huge news for 2026! Life with my favorite human is only getting better as we saddle up for the biggest adventure yet—baby girl coming soon, early March, 2026. LFG!!!

I love you so much @rweimer22! What a rock solid, superwoman you are. Our little girl has one incredible mother 😌

So excited to finally share with the online world at large. We are very excited for everything to come, and anticipatory of the expectant changes to life.
