As I share my newest life achievement, I just wanted to say thank you to my family and friends who have helped shape me into who I am today. I have lost touch with a lot of you, which has a lot to do with me leaving home to begin with, but I know that enlisting was a step in the right direction. Reflecting on who I was before the Navy, I notice the changes that I needed to make were made because of the structure and discipline the military provided. I think about the people I miss back home a lot, because I know I wouldn’t be here without you so again, thank you. I was promoted to E-4 this morning (Third Class Petty Officer) and I still have so much more to learn and a long way to go. by @mitchmcneil10

This weekend I got to celebrate my greatest blessing, my marriage to Mikayla. Through life’s greatest challenges and triumphs, she has been a source of support, encouragement, strength, wisdom, and love. I cant say a big enough thank you to everyone who put in the effort to make this weekend possible, and unforgettable. To my wife, I love you endlessly. I cant wait to see what this next chapter of our lives has in store for us, through good times and bad, I get to love you. by @mitchmcneil10

This has been an unreal year being on the TAMU gymnastics team, from a captain who showed nothing but support and leadership to a group of friends I wouldn’t trade for the world. Nationals in Daytona Beach was amazing and our Women’s team took 1st! Thanks to all of you who made this year amazing, Can’t wait for next season! by @mitchmcneil10

Got to compete with an amazing team for another state championship, through the rough events and best events I watched these guys pick themselves up and recover from 5th to 3rd where we ended. This is bittersweet as it was my last time competing with this team. Through 2 third place finishes and 2 back to back state championships I have been taught so much by my team, my coaches, and my supporters, I love these guys and have memories to last a lifetime! This sport is much more than a ring, trophy, newspaper article, interview, or competition. It’s about the memories, mistakes, tense handshakes, yelling, cheering, huddles and relationships I’ve been able to develop within and outside of my team. I am sad to be done in high school but excited for the next step to compete for Texas A&M gymnastics! by @mitchmcneil10
