My inner child has often remained hidden, almost banished to a small cave in my psyche. Deemed to be weak, and possibly too vulnerable to be in this often harsh and challenging world. Being connected to playful, open and un-defended child like energy hasn’t always felt safe. Abuse, bullying and becoming a bully pushed my inner boy out of sight. And my warrior came online, I felt I had to be strong, tough, respected and feared to be safe in this world. I have worn many masks and been many people.

But who is the true me?

Perhaps even being a men’s work leader, a coach and guide has also come from the desire for power and to be recognised. A role that one can play.
I feel that the true me is more in alignment with the inner child, the inner child that was not clouded by egoic fear but connected to the light of his soul. It’s from this place I seek to live my life and serve. To serve from love and not fear. To serve not for respect, validation and success but to serve because there is nothing else more in important to me in life that to see myself and others THRIVING.
I take my inner child each day by the hand and allow him to guide my way. For he spent too long in the shadows.

23 men stepped into the unknown- to take their rightful place in a Circle of Kings.
We are all equal, we all have the same right to sit at the round table of life- no one is higher or lower, better or worse. We are equals.

I witnessed these men transform their lives in four days. I can promise that they would look you in the eye and confirm this.
For me this is world is so fucking incredible - where men can stop the bullshit games and actually feel their emotions, release their pain and fear and connect from deep place of truth.
Many men come to the retreat being very skeptical that they can actually transform in just a few days and they leave astonished at how it happened.

We had incredible men from all walks of life- businesses men, builders, creatives, technicians, sales men etc and you know what they all realised that they all go though the same shit and experience the same pain. And they also love to share the same laughter, joy and celebration.

When men actually realise how incredible they are and the stories of not being good enough are not true, just something handed down by a parent or teacher they can actually begin living life how they really want to!! Is there anything more liberating.
You can have an incredible loving parter, friends that respect you and will accept your darkness with love. You can have the job that gives you great joy, financial freedom, the time to travel to Thailand for months at a time, you can live with joy, happiness, peace and that tension in the centre of your chest can dissolve.
I invite you to trust me. To trust the Unmasked Man team and come with us on a journey 🙏

Thank you for the support fam - it’s been a tough, rich and deeply beautiful month.
When the heart cracks open, it hurts… but the pain is sooo rich. It is the fertile soil for deep wisdom, poetry and tender friendship to blossom.

Feeling resurrected ☀️ still with tender places but with a new found inspiration!

Good wholesome bro time!!
🍄 🔥 🏕️
Fires, lamb chops, deep vulnerable hilarious conversation and raw real friendship.

I always feel so aligned and alive when I’m wild camping with my dear friends.
We hiked 2 hours to this spot in the oak and beech trees down by the river side, it rained and it was uncomfortable at times. But it felt so right!
It’s good to leave the safety and warmth and to get out in the elements - to remember our place amongst the earth and stars.

Been in a real deep dive into myself the past few weeks. It’s been painful, confusing, numb, beautiful, healing - the whole bag!
I am trying to understand my patterns, my shadow parts, my wounds so they don’t continue to play out in my life.
I don’t want to hurt anyone, and I don’t want to hurt myself.
In this process of accountability it’s important not to spiral in to shame, it’s pivotal to keep the compassion.
Owning my mistakes but loving my brokenness into wholeness. Inviting the kid on the edge of the playground into the game of football- I don’t want to continue to bully myself with my own inner critic - keeping me on the outside of life.
I want to love all of myself - especially the parts that at time feel ‘unlovable’. by @mitchmenswork

Trying to show up in my messy, broken and beautiful humanness.
A holy and broken hallelujah as Leonard Cohen sang.

Just like a Kintsugi porcelain vase my cracks are being filled with gold. The gold of my raw and vulnerable self, brought to its knees at times before standing just a little bit taller.

I will continue to lead men as an equal, with my wounds and my wonder. Continually walking each other home as our legend Ram Dizzle would say.

Feeling a lot of grief.
I made this video a week ago but felt too nervous to post it. I felt so heavy and like such a failure.

I have sat with it and feel it’s important to share the lows and the highs. I want to start to bring more of my life here again, in all the myriad of shades.
The past two weeks have been gray with moments of the suns warmth, I’ve gone into my nest and done my best to process this breakup with the respect it deserves.

I am so sad not to be in relationship. But I also feel like ending it was the right thing to do.
I’ve been moving through different stages of grief, denial, numbing, anger, grief, longing, desire, doubt, clarity. I’ve been constantly coming back to myself and remembering who I am.

If you are experiencing a tender heart, the pain of change and the pain of letting go, I am with you. There are no true lone wolfs, just ones that have wandered from the pack. It’s always there to come back to.

Life can be really hard sometimes, and that’s ok. We don’t have to beat ourselves up for it.

Mitch shattered his spine 10 years ago in a snowboard accident. He went from paralysis to living a life that is far more aligned than the one he lived before. He has spent the past 7 years guiding men into their power. This workshop provides a tender and rooted journey into reframing our scars as gifts, not blocks. Mitch will be joined by his dear brother, medicine man and musician Lewis Dafydd (Cheetah Ram), to take you through a transformational journey. by @mitchmenswork

A little spoken word piece I wrote a few months back.

It’s important to me not to create more division, separation and division in my art - I feel it can be easy to blame others in rap and poetry but I feel that when we really see our self in others it breeds more compassion and understanding.

Another way

Yeh sometimes we got dig deep and weather the storm, and find our way home
Cos when you know you know

Can I still speak if I don’t have the answers
Can I still win if I don’t move the fastest
Can I still breathe, when the whole world is gasping
I might not finish but you can’t stop me from starting

There’s a war in the mind where the thoughts are the violence
There’s peace to be made but it’s born in the silence
Don’t fight the maya with fire but beware of compliance
To the ego, making angels into tyrants

When we pick sides, one is right the other one wrong
This is the reason war has waged since day number one
Can we see ourself in the eyes of the enemy
Through the mist and the fog to the god like energy

Nobody is beyond redemption,
The baby never died in the heart of any man
Bring peace to this bloodied land, give courage to these loving hands
To Build bridges between hell and heaven and

Remind the people that we are one and the same
To other the brother is to be afraid, divide and conquer
