I don’t know why it took me so long to drop into @kuyas.co

Brought my wife and mom. The food is exceptional, the space is chill, and it’s in my area. The kassava cake was so good, my mom told me to get a couple pieces that she could bring back to share with the aunties.

Late Post: Saturday Sept. 5 was the Hollywood Premiere of No Room For Love at the Chinese Theatre as part of the 3rd Annual Manilla International Film Festival.

Mark Labella said it best when describing the event. It really was like one big family reunion.

Was reminded it was 3yrs ago when No Room For Love started off being filmed as a series of shorts. I was fortunate to help with portions of 2, 3 & 4. before it was adapted into a feature length film. So it was great reconnecting with friends I don’t see often. Thank You to the wonderful Writer & Director Husband & Wife team Randall and Malou Kamradt for bringing everyone together for this.

Weird seeing glimpses of myself on the screen lol. I don’t really remember filming my part, but I recall resetting the scene, and other tasks I did the day we filmed 😆

Good time, great group of people to work with. Literally had the Filipino Community Involved and be a part of the film. Super grateful for the opportunity to be involved and blessed to have met and work with so many wonderful people during that time.

Maybe now I’ll post some of the BTS on some of the days we filmed 😅

Next 2 stops in the Film Festival Circuit, No Room For Love will be a “Centerpiece Film” at the Diwa Filipino Film Festival in Seattle Saturday, October 3rd @7pm in the Tateuchi Story Theatre Wing Luke Museum

Then it will be screened at the Chelsea Film Festival in New York at Regal Battery Park on Saturday, October 17th @ 7:30 PM
