It’s been a year since I returned home from my mission! Crazy how time flies.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned since I’ve been home is that God doesn’t expect perfection from us. He doesn’t expect us to go out everyday and get on a box and preach the restored gospel. Although that would be amazing if we did that… he understands that we have needs and responsibilities in this world in order to provide for our future families. But when life gets busy it’s important for us in the good and bad times to be grateful and recognize the source of all our progression and happiness comes from ( God ).

I’m grateful for all the people he placed into my life during that time. I still miss every single one of them in the Bay Area & Fiji and I hope to go back soon! However, I recognize that God still has a purpose for me.

Do I know what that purpose is?

No idea….

However, I have felt a need to always stay close to the spirit & to continue learning and doing the little things no matter how little and tedious they may seem. Every day since I have been home has felt like a battle against right and wrong. Im grateful to know who wins this one. It is so easy for us to fall and be distracted in this world. That is why it is more important than ever for us to be close to the spirit. No matter how unworthy you may feel. God will send his spirit if you look to him. I promise.

We’re all in this mess together. If you read this far the moral of my thought is to remember what matters most in your life.

Don’t get caught up in things that bring you further away from God.

Make time for the savior.

Make time for your family.

Make time to be in the temple.
