Redraw of a 2017 painting.

I drew the original portrait when I felt very unconfident with my art, worried that at the pace I was at, I'd never be able to become a professional. Today I sat down to doodle feeling the same lack of confidence and insecurity I felt four years ago. I decided to repaint an older drawing to try to find some improvement. While I'm not where I want to be just yet, the entire experience made me realize I need to be more patient with myself. I'm a bit more hopeful for the future now at least :)

Also my neck hurts a lot so I thought it was funny haha hehe *gets shot*

Photo study, trying to get the right values without color picking. Likeness is way off but I'm still overall happy with how this came out! #digitalart #photoshop #photostudy #instaart #conceptart #illustration #illust #artstudy #artstudent #portrait by @mithuun_
