📣📣 IMPORTANT INFORMATION! Share widely.
(More languages coming shortly).

Immigration hearings are getting moved up with only two weeks notice, sometimes from 2027 to late June, to "mega master" hearings than began in NYC recently. The hearing process is the same, only it takes longer because there are more people.

The biggest risk is not knowing a hearing has been moved. Missing a hearing generally results in a removal (deportation) order.

Help spread the word for neighbors to check their hearing date regularly at https://acis.eoir.justice.gov/. If you have an upcoming hearing, find legal guidance at https://court.kyr.digital/en/ (in many languages).

Come to court 1 hour before your appointment to go through security and find your waiting room. Stay in the waiting room so that you don't miss your name being called. Be prepared to wait. Bring water, snacks, and toys for children.

Traiga agua, comida, y juguetes para niños. by @mitlallinyc

Stand With Khamisi Golding: Help a Father Fight for His Family and His Freedom

For Khamisi Golding, the United States is not simply where he lives—it is the only home he has truly known.
Khamisi was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and lawfully entered the United States with his mother and sisters in 1988 when he was just eight years old whose travel documents were illegally withheld for over 30 years. He grew up in Queens, attended New York City public schools, graduated from high school in New York City, and later attended Brooklyn College. Today, after nearly four decades in America, he is fighting to remain in the country where he built his entire life.
Today, Khamisi is detained at the Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, Georgia, where he is defending himself in immigration removal proceedings while trying to secure the legal representation necessary to return home to his family.

Serious Medical Conditions Make This Fight Even More Urgent
Khamisi is not only fighting removal.
He is fighting while living with serious medical conditions.
He previously suffered a heart attack requiring the placement of three cardiac stents and depends upon multiple daily medications to reduce the risk of another cardiac event. His legal filings state that continued detention presents a serious threat to his health.
He is also certified for mental health treatment through the World Trade Center Health Program based on his presence at Brooklyn College during the September 11 attacks.

🚨 FREE ALEX HERNANDEZ — CALL ICE & DEMAND HIS RELEASE 🚨
Alex Hernandez has lived in the United States since 1973, building his life in Los Angeles. He is a devout Christian, a husband to a U.S. citizen, a father to U.S. citizen children, and a man deeply committed to his community.

Let the record be clear:
• Alex has gone to every ICE check-in
• He was released from Etowah in 2020 due to COVID, and now ICE has re-detained Alex.
• In 2022, he won protection under the Convention Against Torture (CAT)
• A judge ruled that if Alex is sent to Honduras, he will be killed
• He has no family or support in Honduras
• This is not about public safety.

🛑 TAKE ACTION — CALL & EMAIL NOW 🛑
📞 ICE Los Angeles Field Office
Phone: (213) 830-7911
Email: LosAngeles.Outreach@ice.dhs.gov
📣 What to say:
“I am calling to demand the immediate release of Alex Hernandez. A judge ruled he would be killed if deported. He has complied with all ICE requirements, has deep family and community ties, and his detention appears retaliatory. Release Alex Hernandez now.”

📞 Call Rep. Robert Garcia (CA-42)
Demand immediate congressional intervention to free Alex Hernandez and keep his family together.
📣 What to say:
“I am asking Representative Garcia to intervene immediately with ICE to secure the release of Alex Hernandez and stop this unjust detention.”

Free Maikel from ICE detention!

Maikel Romero Zamora, a beloved community member, has been unjustly detained
by ICE since March, 2025. Before being detained, he spent his time helping others
on their asylum claims. ICE is denying Maikel the opportunity to file his
application to register as a legal permanent resident. Maikel needs to raise $1450
to pay the ridiculous fee under the Cuban Adjustment Act.
