another class of 2026 salute: tim haarmann, a defenseman out of boxford, mass and st. john’s prep / @3dlacrossene

After battling injuries early on at mit, Tim kept showing up, earned captain, and finished with all-newmac honors. an all-time engineer and leader - on and off the field.

and speaking of engineers, don’t forget the alumni game this saturday, oct. 3, from 3–5 pm on barry field.

Ahead of the Alumni Game on Oct. 3, we’re highlighting some recent 2026 grads.

Zach Bleil ‘26 | M | New Canaan, CT + Hopkins School | Aerospace Engineering

Bleil graduates tied for sixth all-time at MIT in career goals (125) and seventh in career points (174). The 2023 @newmacsports Rookie of the Year went on to earn three straight All-NEWMAC First Team selections (2024–26), USILA and USA Lacrosse Magazine All-America honors in 2025, and USILA Scholar All-America recognition in 2026.

Now he’s putting that aerospace degree to work at SpaceX. 🚀

did someone say alumni game?

Will Bryce Metalios lace em up Oct 3 in Cambridge?

And will he have a classic multi goal performance while holding the ball a total of 8 seconds? 🦫

Bryce finished his MIT Lacrosse with 131 goals. 155 points. Fifth all-time at MIT. Three-time Academic All-Conference. Plus a Sloan degree.
