Happy Summer Friends!
You might remember my 1st Amigurumi pattern that was released last year...well,the pattern is back with some updates! Moreover, an iconic snack from south of Italy joined Bocconcino (mozzarella bite) and Pizzutello (little tomato) : welcome to Tarallino 🤭!
Bocconcino, Pizzutello and Tarallino works perfectly as deskpals or you can used them as keychains or even as bag charms and they're perfect as crocheted play food as well!
Swipe to learn some Italian words and the recipe for a perfect appetizer in Italian style🥗🥂😋!

Hello Hello!
This is my little #freecrochetpattern to celebrate the Tanabata, one of the most important Annual Events in Japan. This year it will be celebrated on July the 7th so be ready and crochet this Tanzaku to make your dreams or wishes come true!
I had the idea for this pattern in March, when I joined a special event dedicated to the Japanese culture in Milan. I didn't find a pattern for the Tanzaku so I created it! Of course, it's super easy, but believe me, it's full of magic💫
A sneak peak was contained into last clip of my Reel dedicated to the Hanami Event... As I'm the Queen of procrastination, here we are 3 days before the Tanabata day 😅

Happy Autumnal Equinox!
The last days of September are slowly bringing us to the next season and in my opinion the fruit that symbolizes this moment are the figs. I am literally craving for figs, so I hope to find some delicious ones at the food market in my neighborhood!
Meanwhile I just remembered that last year I make some crocheted figs thanks to the pattern by Nadya @pinky_pinky_blue and I didn't share pictures so far🫠

The pattern gives the possibility to made half or whole figs and the most interesting part is the embroidery of the inner part that gives a realistic look!

Do you want to turn them into keychain or bagcharms as I did? Check the Reel pinned into my reel section, I shared a very easy peasy method!

Today Maria @hooks.in.paws released the pattern for this little butterfly that belongs to her mini bug serie.
But don't underestimate this cutie: working on her is challenging in a positive way and the result is very pleasant!
I tested the Butterfly back in July together to the Ladybug: if you want to create your own bug hotel have a look on the full serie that include also a caterpillar and a bee🐝🐛🐞🦋!

For the colors I choose the ones for the Maple Moth and Queen Alexandra Butterfly but there are endless possibilities!

This summer was full of dramatic events related to the climate change. In Europe we had many heat waves, the woods were on fire, the lakes and the big rivers were at the bare minimum levels and there was no rain for many, many weeks.

While my heart was full of worries, my hands worked on this beautiful horse/unicorn design by Vasilina @mad_toymaker : I lost yarn chicken so I made part of the head and one leg in another color with a smooth transition using only few strands of contrasting color before change from off-white to deep blue.
I was amazed by the result, and I brought this magical creature to the woods and near a river, hoping that he can protect the surroundings.

Last words about the pattern and the author: Vasilina's fingerprint is a minimalist design and smart shapes and very neat instructions so you can give life to creatures full of ancestral magic. I hope you can feel it as I can. I strongly recommend this designer who is actually very engaged with veterinary medicine and who's original account was hacked some time ago, losing the hard work she made in many years.

I found this lovely pattern through @pinterest looking for a project with few colors and I found this website : https://grannysquare.me! There is also an interesting technique to made a basic grannysquare, let me know if you already know it!

As I am Amigurumi addicted I added a couple of strawberries thanks to the #freepattern by Annegret @patisserie.crochet 🍓

Today's two Little Ladies went to the astonishing Lej Sgrischus to have a peaceful moment and celebrate their beauty. They're different, one is a little too belly while the other a little too tallie... But regardless of what seems too much or too less they learned that into the nature the real beauty is in diversity. So they enjoyed a sunbath completed naked, feeling themselves just enough.
That's the main message of this pattern called Little Ladies and released by Ophélie @ahookamama : it's a collection of 6 ladies that celebrates all kind of female bodies, it's about self-love, sisterhood and diversity. The pattern was released back into 2025 in French and I helped to test the English version, that I hope will be released soon or later!
The pattern is well written, full of pictures and instructions and includes the Ladies and their bath wardrobe. Also, the Ladies are available as bundle or as single pattern.

NB: no swimming is allowed into the alpine lakes so the ladies had just the sunbath!

Well, it's finally time for HOLIDAYS!

But before leaving the hottest Milano ever I completed the last small commissions, including this AMAZING and funny giraffe for a young Lady who will start her adventure in high school in September 😉

Hermann the Giraffe pattern is crated by the incredibly talented Natasha @natura_crochet : the way to work the body, neck and head is super fun and this character is an absolute 'must make' 🦒❤️!
