Over the last year we made a short film about fertility, ambition and juice. So much juice.

Shoutout to our amazing team of collaborators @samaraaj @sarahsimkajaffe @lbinopenguin @kerishewmaker @moth.whisper @uyum @thekevcris and many more talented filmmakers 🍳

This movie is deeply personal, I hope all you friends get a chance to see it on big screen. It was my first time directing live action and I’m very grateful to have found this incredible team to make this into a reality. Samara you are a seriously powerful filmmaker with both detail oriented project management prowerss and a creative vision that made this film possible!

ALSO!! We are going to World Premiere at Dances with Films in LA this summer! At the Chinese Theatre! GO TEAM GOOD EGG! @goodeggshort by @mitraster

YAY I’m very excited that our short film Starling will be included in the 2023 Tribeca Festival as one of @tribeca official selections!

Starling is a short film about a birthday, 90’s Istanbul and the shining presence of the people we loved and lost.

This film was produced by @jerseyplatypus producer extraordinaire, creative powerhouse, captain of our ship, my wonderful friend! Can’t wait to go to New York with you!

Shout out to the BEST crew any director could ask for!
