New teacher alert!!!

Trevor Roberts, (he/him) began teaching on a one year exchange program in Perth, Western Australia, at the age of 17. An instructor of over 25 years, he’s also balanced working as an actor, having recurred on several Vancouver shot series.

He took up a weird hobby during lockdown that stuck, making artisanal homemade soap. He gets a little obsessed with reality television, and is no stranger to hosting a karaoke jam.

We’re beyond excited to welcome Trevor to the team!! His wealth of experience and fun attitude promises to bring a fresh perspective to the studio. We can’t wait to see him bring out the best in all his students!!

New teacher alert!!

June Laporte (they/them), is a queer, non-binary actor and teacher in Vancouver, BC. They love inclusive storytelling, creating safe spaces, and taking long walks through the neighborhood to pet cats! June believes in finding balance and play amidst the inconsistencies and hectic nature of “the industry”. They love to empower other artists on aspects and tools of the craft that are within our control, while learning to let the rest go.

We are so excited to welcome June to the MiTribe family!! Their welcoming nature, extensive experience and beautifully rounded outlook on the industry/acting is something we can’t wait for our students to be inspired by.

June will be starting their first round of classes entitled “Presence Lab” on Monday mornings from Sept. 23 - Oct. 14 taken in Vancouver, British Columbia by @mitribemedia
