Defqon 1...

You are always so amazing and beautiful, making me reunite with friends and each year more and more friends. No, not friends, family...

The weekend was amazing, from the sets, to the vibe, to just spending time with people you love with the same mind set and are seriously great at partying with good humor as well.

But besides good fun, defqon always ofc i emotional as well, the endshows for example where i cried on both saturday as sunday and the worst part of defqon always, saying goodbye to everyone again, having to wait another year to seeing eachother again and sometimes even more. But you know what they say as well, if it hurts, it's real.

So if you were with me, whether it was for one day, the whole weekend or even shared a glamping tent with, know that i love you and can't wait to party and see you again.

I salute with hope, hoping to see everyone again and even meet more people next year, that we have an even bigger "klaplong" pit and group hugs and that there will be even more memories.

If i had to summarize everything in 1 word, it would be Family ❤️ taken in Defqon 1 - Biddinghuizen by @mitriroy1

Defqon 1 2022...

After such a long time we finally were able to go again. After all these years of darkness, we finally saw the light again.

This was my first edition (fourth defqon in general) that i got to spend with some of my best friends online, some from nl, but also some from the very far end. Moments like these make you really appreciate all those times you spend together (online) and well... didn't spend together during the dark times. That's what made this edition extra special.

The bond we already had only got stronger and stronger during this weekend. Through partying, losing our minds, screaming along with every melody and letting loose of emotional things that needed to get out.

This edition i also got to hear my personal TOTY's in both hardstyle and hardcore on the biggest hard dance festival.
I will start with my hardcore one, nosferatu - a sinner's descent. When i first heard this on the harmony of hardcore stream, i had goosebumps and tears in my eyes. Hearing it on the black made me lost for words...
Then Lost by Atmozfears & Xense.... it is really, really rare that hardstyle can get me to tears, listening back to my recording keeps on making me tear up. The lyrics, the melody, the kicks and how relatable it is. It literally is the BEST hardstyle track of 2022. Nothing will ever make you feel like this.... and the way how everyone sang along... it was just pure magic.

This really was my best defqon edition so far and nothing but love for everyone that i met, partied with and even cried with. I am very thankful for you being there with me and i can't wait to meet you all again ♥️

And for the ones who weren't there this year, i really hope to see you on a next edition so we can party together then and have a good time taken in Defqon 1 - Biddinghuizen by @mitriroy1

What a weekend it was... i still can't put into words how amazing this all was. A big community party with a lot of friends being in the crowd and also on the line-up, sharing emotions, sharing music and most importantly, sharing memories... this for sure was a night i will never forget, all the love, all the dedication and just everything making it the best party ♥️. I can't thank @atmozfears enough for everything he has done, from his music to all he has done for the community to the amazing party to giving me the opportunity to close the party (where i'm proud to say that i blew his (and many others their) minds) to so much more... and a huge thanks to @kvdmvisuals for everything you do in the background, the amazing pictures and being an amazing person ♥️
I'm proud to say that i'm part of this community and i have nothing but love for it and everyone in it ♥️♥️♥️♥️ taken in BIBI by @mitriroy1

2023... A year where A LOT happened

Starting to work at my best job, getting my driver's license, my first metal concert (and the many that followed), getting my own car, another amazing edition of defqon where i saw friends from far (and even met some for the first time after knowing eachother for a while), my first b2b with @inval1dnl , my first halloween themepark events and many, many good memories with friends and family.

I want to thank each and everyone that was there along for the journey.

Let's make 2024 a good year as well filled with new themepark adventures, new events/concerts and overall good times. by @mitriroy1

Back once again on The Event Without Name, this time for their 6th edition. I will be playing my favorite tracks that stood out personally this year, showing that there still is hope for hardcore in this world of uptempo.

Defqon...
It's already been a week, but the memories are still here and will be for a very long time.

This will be my last post about it, so enjoy the last moments of silver, black and red/purple. And ofc the after party with @denis_sinanovic26 at the dönner company 😂
