Walking through Luxmi Township’s Uttora, I did not just see another development. I saw intent.

Moving from a metropolitan city to a town like Siliguri was a decision that raised a few eyebrows. But that transition changed the way I look at growth and development. It made me more observant and conscious of what truly defines long-term value. Perhaps that’s why Uttora surprised me. The discipline in planning, the restraint in design, and the genuine respect for open green spaces stood out in a way I hadn’t expected.

Being a CEO, those details matter to me. They signal whether a place has been imagined for long term or merely constructed for the present.

At Luxmi, I experienced a vision aligned with our own belief that destinations must be thoughtfully built, not hurriedly assembled. That conviction led us to secure a plot at Uttora for our next hotel.

Its proximity to the airport makes it strategically compelling, but what truly influenced our decision was the ecosystem taking shape around it. In hospitality, accessibility brings guests in while environment makes them stay. But most importantly, experience makes them return.

As part of the founding team, I feel a deep responsibility to ensure every new address we enter reflects who we are and what we stand for. Uttora gives us the canvas to create a hospitality experience that is not transactional but also memorable.

We now look forward to shaping a property here that will welcome travellers from near and far, building experiences in a setting designed for the future.
