No audio, just the process of packing a special commissioned painting so it’s ready to deliver 🫶🏼

I finished this piece off using a @planofficial_ wooden edge frame, added the rope for hanging, and packed in acid free paper and recycled bubble wrap to ensure its protection 💛

Let’s not forget the certificate of authenticity and a lil sticker to finish it off 🌼💛

A lot of the process of painting goes unseen and is in these moments of packing and getting pieces ready to leave!!

I was so grateful to get this commission - it’s based on a bridal bouquet so the bride may remember her flowers forever 💐 what a gorgeous idea 🥹

Let me give you an update on the process of turning my art into silk scarves 🫶🏼💛🌼 👉

I started by making repeat patterns from three of my original paintings, I chose these to start with because of their fluid nature. I could actually really see the two floral ones as curtains !!

The first yellow one drew me in, and I imagined this as a bandana and played around with what the labels could look like…

As samples of the fabrics arrived, I asked you which designs you preferred…

And you guys spoke!! You preferred the more colourful of the two 💛

I noticed that even though yellow is my favourite colour, it doesn’t mean it is everyone’s (sad), and that gave me the exciting opportunity to play with the colours of the repeat pattern tiles!

It was close, but you preferred the warmer one 🐻

Here is the full family of Wildflowers, my first repeat pattern in three varieties 🌼🪻🐻

After the busiest week celebrating love of all kinds (weddings, growing families, school friends reuniting) it’s really reminded me that beautiful things really are everywhere if you are able to look 🫶🏼

When I painted this piece “float away” it was in one of those pure moments of flow, letting the painting come to life without much thought other than how beautiful I find a Lily pond. It will always be one of my favourite pieces because of how whimsical it feels to me 🪷 and will always serve as a reminder to see the beauty in the smallest things.

Everything is a blank canvas !!

Ever since the new marmalade @motherroot came out, I simply can’t get enough of it 🍊 it is the PERFECT spritz alternative for this hot sunny weather and this white box was just calling my name!

Celebrating how obsessed I am, and with my love for packaging design, I decided to paint some cute lil oranges and nods to citrus fruits and their leaves on the box 🍹

Painted with acrylics and oil pastels (I say oil paint in the voice over, just ignore me) 🎨

Not paid for or an ad but the bottle was kindly gifted. 🧡

I don’t know what it is but ever since this lil swan showed up as a main character in my photos with @caradavidsonphotography a few months ago, I can’t stop being drawn to the majestic lil beauties 🦢
