Who do you think will win? MMA vs Muay Thai

How do you do something that nobody has done before?

I don’t know yet. I’ll tell you when I get there.

I’ve been told it would take $30–40 million to build a high-end Muay Thai promotion in the United States.

The truth is, I don’t know if it’s possible to bootstrap a Muay Thai fight promotion into a legitimate competitor against the biggest organizations in the sport.

But I do know that so few people believe it’s possible that it makes me more inclined to believe that it can be done.

Realists are incapable of achieving unrealistic goals. You’ll never see what you’re not looking for.

Maybe we’re wrong. Maybe everyone else is right.

We’ll find out. taken in Michigan by @mittenman__

The MMT crew looks back at Mason Shilaei’s last appearance inside the MMT ring, where his title reign came to an end against Yoniel Santana. @kid.l.video @weaversboxing @mittenman__ @mason.shilaei

Kid L makes a statement saying that Mason messed up by losing a Michigan-titled belt to a New York fighter. MMT owner Phil adds his thoughts as well as Weavers gym owner Munib

Now the conversation turns to Mason. Known for his confidence and never being afraid to speak his mind, did his ego and confidence finally catch up with him that night?

Either way, Mason isn’t going anywhere.

Mason Shilaei returns to MMT on November 7th for his PRO DEBUT, taking on Billy DeVoll as MMT 11 takes over the Masonic Temple in Detroit.

Coming off a recent win in Ontario, Mason believes his value has gone up, and now he wants to be paid accordingly.

Mason calls MMT owner Phil to discuss a pay raise before agreeing to fight on Mitten Muay Thai’s upcoming card at the Masonic Temple in Detroit.

Mason argues that he’s become the face of MMT and believes his ability to sell fights should be reflected in his paycheck. Phil acknowledges Mason’s value, but pushes back, arguing that the November event is already expected to sell out regardless.

The conversation eventually turns to a potential opponent, but Mason isn’t impressed with the name being offered. 👀 @mason.shilaei @mittenman__ #muaythai #mma #fightnight #knockout by @mittenman__

THE FIGHT EVERYONE’S SLEEPING ON 👀🔥

Phil and Coach Munib break down Fernando Baez vs Winston Williams, a matchup they believe could steal Fight of the Night.

Winston is patient, powerful and dangerous with the left hand. Fernando brings relentless pressure and only knows one direction: forward.

With two completely different styles colliding, they don’t see this one going the distance. 👀
