Adventure looks different for everyone.
Some find it gliding across mirror-like fjords.
Others chasing winding roads between towering peaks.
Or simply feeling the stillness of untouched nature.

With the right people by your side, every experience becomes a memory you’ll want to relive.
What will yours look like? 💫 by @mivo.no

We’ve spent the weekend cooking over open flames, enjoying the warmth, the food and the atmosphere that comes with it.

Simple pleasures, at their best 🔥

Open in front, roofed behind. That’s a gapahuk. Norwegians have built them for centuries, and you’ll still find them all over Norway. In the woods, by the fjord, up in the mountains 🪵🌳

You sit inside, close to the fire, with nature open in front of you. The view is yours.

The carpenters are working their magic, and this one is almost finished!

The ferry is part of your route here. This is everyday life. You drive on, stay in the car, or stand on the deck and watch the fjord go by.

In Norway, the joy of hiking and experiencing nature is about more than just reaching the destination.

It’s about everything you discover along the way, from hidden waterfalls to the perfect spot for a coffee break.

Make room for the unexpected.

Autumn is slowly making its way to the mountains 🍂

The light gets softer, the air turns crisp and clear, and the colours outside begin to change. Inside, it’s time for warm layers, the fireplace, local flavours and slow evenings.

A beautiful time of year to get outside, enjoy the changing nature and make the most of the little things that make autumn so special.
