As the Sound Recordist on this production, it was a privilege to help capture the performances, atmosphere, and subtle details that contribute to the storytelling. While audiences often focus on what they see on screen, sound plays a vital role in creating an immersive cinematic experience.

From intricate props and atmospheric lighting to carefully capturing clean dialogue amidst the controlled chaos of a film set, these behind-the-scenes moments reflect the dedication, craftsmanship, and collaboration that make filmmaking so rewarding.

Grateful to have been part of this incredible production, directed by @dawnfwall and filmed at @freespritemedia.studios Every cog, every costume, every setup, and every sound captured was a reminder that movie magic is built by talented people working together toward a shared vision.

A special thank you to @animuspictures for bringing me onto this project and for the opportunity to contribute to such a creative and ambitious production.

Here’s a glimpse behind the curtain. ⚙️🎥🎙️✨

These are Fragments.

The pieces of people learning how to live with what remains.

This documentary isn’t just about grief. It’s also about learning how to show up for the people carrying it.

As the sound recordist, I was often the first person to hear these stories in their rawest form. Sitting behind the microphone meant witnessing moments that felt deeply vulnerable, emotional, and painfully human in real time.

And even after filming ended, those voices stayed with me through the entire audio post-production process; Dialogue editing, music, and sound design became more than technical work. It became a way of holding space for those experiences, carefully shaping how they would be felt by others.

Because somehow, even in the middle of it all…

we’re STILL HERE.

STILL HERE TRAILER

We made this documentary to sit with grief, acknowledge it and not rush past it.

It’s about the heaviness, the quiet moments, and what it means to keep choosing to be here even when it hurts. we spoke to people who have loved and lost, and to professionals who help make sense of it all.

This documentary isn’t just about grief, it’s also about learning how to show up for the people carrying it.

Because somehow, even in the middle of it all… we’re STILL HERE.
